Horseshoe Bend Marina is a secluded get away situated on the scenic head waters of Center Hill Lake.  Our marina is only (by water) a mile from Rock Island State Park's Sand Bar and boat ramp.  It is the perfect place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Whether you are wanting to go boating, fishing, or camping, we have quite a bit to offer. 

As one of the few marinas on Center Hill Lake that stays open year 'round, we rent boats, boat slips, and camp sites.  Fall scenic tours and year 'round guided fishing tours are available also.  We have a boat ramp that is easily accessible even when the lake water level is low.  Our store offers a variety of drinks, snacks, camping supplies, boating supplies, and fishing supplies.

Horseshoe Bend Marina

Adorable cottage in a tranquil, picturesque setting on a private lake in the spectacular South Cumberland Mountains.

Delightful and cozy, this 2022 custom built 800 square foot two bedroom cottage will be your sanctuary from reality.

Secluded and snuggled in the trees, on the shore of your own private 3 acre lake, you  will awake only to the sounds of the birds singing and the breeze whispering in the leaves. You'll fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets, an occasional owl and perhaps the glorious sound of the beautiful whip-poor-will. And just think of the incredible stargazing you can enjoy lying on a blanket by the lake! 

Designed with a crisp, yet gently modern flare, the downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, the upstairs loft has two queens. Large, gourmet style kitchen so that you can prepare the bass you've caught in the lake. The great room is lofty, airy and bright and brings in the beautiful views of the lake. Large elevated porch with comfy chairs, gives expensive views up and down the lake and the woods on the far side. And that sunrise!  This is your private haven away from the world! Don't miss it!

The large stone fire pit is lakeside and surrounded by comfy Adirondack chairs. Picnic table for family meals by the lake.

This beautiful 3 acre lake is walkable all the way around the perimeter through the quiet woods of over 9 acres, with wildflowers, and beautiful native plants and trees along the way. Only one other cottage has access to the lake and property and it is discreetly tucked away out of sight. If you're lucky you will see a great blue heron fishing! Or a family of deer pausing on the shore for a drink. Keep your eyes peeled, our mountains are known to have bald eagles!

Pack a picnic lunch and walk to the other side and enjoy the solitude!

You are welcome to bring your kayak and fish to your heart's content, you will find bass, brim, crappie and catfish. One end of the lake would be suitable for shoreline casting. Please note that the lake does not have a beach, but is surrounded by  protective wetland  along most of its shoreline. You can launch your kayak easily, however it is not suitable for wading or swimming. 

The cottage is located down a long gravel driveway, private with no close neighbors.

Just minutes away from the majesty of the new Savage Gulf  State Park. This newest Tennessee State Park has over 30 miles of hiking for all skill levels, glorious waterfalls, and magnificent overlooks where you can see for miles. 

A few minutes down the road is charming Beersheba Springs, and this entire village is on the National Historic register and offers a lovely walk amongst its many mid 1800s residences. 

The beautiful town of McMinnville is only 23 miles away, and offers outstanding restaurants, river kayaking and fishing, waterfalls, quaint shops, caving tours, music venues and additional state parks. The unique and popular music venue, The Caverns, and the famous Bonnaroo festival are both a short scenic drive from the cottage. 

There are several more towns, each with their own unique offerings, with many seasonal activities, farmers markets and special events ! There is never a shortage of adventures here in our beautiful mountains, where nature, not civilization, still rules!

Eads Bluff Farm

Experience true off-grid living in our Mennonite-built cabin nestled in the heart of 81 acres of secluded meadows and pasture. This rustic retreat is the perfect getaway for those looking to fully unplug and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

Our cozy cabin offers a unique blend of country charm and modern convenience. While there is no electricity, we have propane lights inside and solar lights outdoors. We do have running water, although there is no water heater yet. The interior is tastefully decorated with a comfortable queen-sized bed and two twin beds in a shared room upstairs. A futon is available in the family area for additional sleepers and full size kitchen for preparing simple meals. Best of all, there is no WiFi and little cell phone service, giving you the chance to truly disconnect and relax. With a fire pit outside, you can enjoy cozy evenings under the stars, roasting marshmallows and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Additionally, for those who prefer to sleep under the stars, we offer two campsites in an old cattle field at the crest of the hill. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and cooking grate, and a porta potty is conveniently located nearby. Parking is available adjacent to the sites, and it's just a short walk across the field. These are primitive so no water is available on site.

Now true highlight of our property are the four picturesque ponds and natural lake with a beaver dam and small waterfall. Grab a fishing pole and take to the waters, or simply relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. And with an abundance of wildlife, you're sure to spot everything from deer and wild turkey to osprey and blue heron during your stay.

Beyond our property, you'll find endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Although only a mile as the crow flys, the cabin is a 20-minute drive to Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee's largest state park, boasting over 26,000 acres of hiking, waterfalls, streams, cascades, and gorges. And with Cumberland Mountain State Park, Catoosa Wildlife Management Area, South Cumberland State Park, and Chattanooga all within an hour's drive or so, there's no shortage of hiking, dining, and activities to enjoy. The Mennonite community is a short drive away where you'll find local produce, plants, and all sorts of handmade goods.

With terrifically high Appalachian peaks and plunging caverns, Tennessee travelers can get a sense of the sublime landscape that inspired music legends from Nashville to Memphis by camping in Tennessee. 


East Tennessee is home to a part of the oldest mountain range in the world, the Great Smoky Mountains. As the name suggests, the peaks are often shrouded in fog, but that doesn’t make the view from Clingmans Dome any less spectacular. At 6,643 feet, Clingmans Dome towers as the highest point in Tennessee and the third highest point east of the Mississippi River. Make sure to say hi to the hardcore hikers, many people hiking the entire Appalachian Trail will stop at this unforgettable lookout. 


A clear day at the dome observatory provides views as far as 100 miles. But explorers camping in Tennessee should plan on hiking their way up to the point, the roadway that leads to the observatory closes during inclement weather and from Dec. 1 to March 31 every year.

We border the Cumberland State Park ( The Possum Creek Area)but we have 600 acres of privately owned land and also have miles of our own trails on our private land.  This campsite is secluded on a gravel road, 6 miles off Highway 111, but is close enough for daily excursions to Downtown Chattanooga, Soddy Daisy, and Dunlap Tennessee. This campsite is a walk-in and the Parking lot is just a small walk to Terry's Island Campsite.

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Just 1 mile off Exit 60, I-75 north or south, these new sites are graveled and level, with no trees to avoid.

The campsites are pet friendly. Pets must be on a maximum 6' leash at all times. Please dispose of your pet's poop immediately.

CONNECTIVITY

WiFi and Satellite/Cable TV are not offered at this time. However, if you have a Hot Spot on your cell phone, all major cell services work well in the area. If your RV is equipped with satellite TV, you should have great reception with a clear view of the southern sky! Antennas work well here.

MAXIMUM STAY

The campground is close enough for hiking and sightseeing in the Tellico Plains, rafting the Ocoee River, visiting the must-see Bald River Falls; or visit the Smokey Mountain Cherokee National Forest and surrounding areas of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville for a day trip.



A few more minutes to the Cherohala Skyway and the "Tail of the Dragon" makes an unforgettable loop that you won't want to miss!

Dirt track race fans will want to visit I-75 Raceway (4.3 miles) and/or Mountain View Raceway (24 miles) for exciting weekend entertainment. Smoky Mountain Speedway is a little further way at 34 miles... a 45 minute drive.

During June and July you should find a beautiful firefly and lightning bug 'show' over the field that skirts the 'back' of the campground! Their arrival is usually late June early July.

About a 10-to-45-minute drive into surrounding towns for good food.
