Out of the ordinary in a bad way.

Two of us with two small tents spent one night passing through on motorcycles. We have been camping on these trips for well over a decade. Although Ann, the proprietor seemed very nice and welcoming over the phone, it became obvious upon our arrival that we should have asked some basic questions.…

Beautiful flat campground.

Picturesque campground on reelfoot lake near tiptonville tn. 2 out of 3 bathrooms operational. Showers are free. Many cypress trees. Clean. About 3/4 full this weekend.

Meeman Shelby campground

Decent spot. Lots of sites with water and power hookups. Water at site 9 where we were was very cloudy. Atleast 3 drive into primitive sites. Decent bathrooms with showers. A bit pricey $28 per night. Very friendly staff. The ranger mentioned that they will be closing for renovations soon,…

Great View

This was our first trip to Reelfoot Lake. We wanted to be close to the lake when we made our reservation so we picked this site because it was available for the days we were able to go. After arriving we felt like we had the best spot for sitting and looking out over the lake. It was only available…

No Privacy

My husband and I chose this campground because it was in our “Best in Tent Camping Tennessee” guidebook. Not my favorite. The sites are extremely close together and there is absolutely no privacy. We chose an ADA site because my husband is a wheelchair user, but the grassy patch next to the…

North Campground

Definitely choose the north campground (airport) if you are looking for a quieter, less claustrophobic camping experience. We stayed here in a tent. Everyone else had RVs so we had the bathroom and showers to ourselves. Bathrooms were clean and we had no problems with airport noise. It’s not the…

Great Place

50⚡️💧💩 Convenient, easy on/off, very friendly, good sized spots. Nice place for the area, admin says they are improving it little by little. Officer-owned. Website’s not much but give them a call to book.

Primitive sites available

The primitive sites (there are three) are on a separate and I maintained road off of the campsite loop. Spacious sites, but if the weather is wet, it can be a bit iffy getting to them in a low clearance vehicle. That said, facilities and staff were nice.

Beautiful park but...

The road into the campground is a little narrow when meeting someone so keep that in mind. Zero and I mean zero cell signal lol. Not a deal breaker for us but may be for some. Roads inside the campground are adequate. We stayed in site #2 which in the description says it's 46 ft but our 38 ft 5th…

Bug Apocalypse

We arrived in the evening and almost didn’t stay the night. Actually, we were schedule to stay two nights and left around 9 the next morning. The mosquitoes, gnats, and flies were so overwhelming that we couldn’t go outside and even spent most the evening killing bugs inside the camper with no…

Great find!

This casino RV park has all hook-ups, is very well-maintained, and our pull-through site was level. They have free laundry facilities and clean individual bathrooms with showers, ADA accessible with shower chairs. There are picnic tables and grills available nearby. Trash pickup offered daily…

Perfection!!

This was my first time at Chickasaw but it won’t be my last! Beautiful location, extremely friendly staff. Locals were kind, welcoming, and helpful. I spent one night here on my way south. My stay was peaceful, tranquil, and restorative. The campsite was amazing. Dazzled me with a perfect lakeside…
