Large campsite but not much privacy

We're camped at Tahquamenon Falls State Park - Lower Falls - Hemlock. The sites are level and fairly large (site 187). If you have an RV and your neighbor has one too, the sites are fairly private but otherwise there's not much separating you from the next site. We are parked on dirt, not much…

Nice campground, but busy

We camped here for a couple days in mid July. They had sites big, small, on the lake, and off so something for everyone. Only thing is that it fills up fast. The first night we drove through late and every site was full, while we were there we found most were full not long after checkout (2pm). Our…

Quiet camping

This is a very quite campground. Big sites with many close to the water. Several water pumps and out houses. One of my favorites!

Nice and quiet

I stayed here for 1 month. $25/night, $700/month. Mostly level grass sites with 30A, some have 50A. Most sites have a picnic table. Trash dumpster near the entrance. Fresh water, bathrooms with showers, and laundry (free but inside the women's bathroom), located in the pavillon. First come, first…

Shake it up!

So getting here will rattle the teeth outta your head — dirt county road. The campground is small but well-spaced so you have privacy. On the sandy shores of Lake Superior, this is a tucked away gem but it was so early in our site-seeing day, we didn’t want to get anchored to a place so far back…

Jackpot!

What a great little treasure! With easy beach access and clean amenities, thanks to great camp hosts who have two firewood/game cabinet stations in the campground, this little spot is wonderful to visit. Prices are reasonable and the limited size keeps it from being overrun with bored little…

Quiet Family Oriented camping

Very nice camp ground, central location for upper peninsula activities. Very nice heated pool. Campsites are a bit close to each other but otherwise very nice.

Great camping

Stayed here two nights in mid-July. The hot showers were such a bonus! Short walk to lower falls and trails, which is exactly what we wanted. Camp hosts were awesome.

Great beachfront sites

Fox Park on Hyw 35 , small community park with 21 sites. Big rig friendly $15 night, has a well for water and porta potty’s. First come first serve but can reserve 2 weeks out if planning trip.

Would not go again

This campground is not desirable, bathrooms were not clean, they double booked our site, loud and generally not a good night. No firewood available at campground either.

Ok as a pit-stop

We arrived on a Friday evening. We had a pull through site and a cabin booked. The pull-through sites are SMALL! (Cabins were basic.) If you happen to have a neighbor, you share campfire and picnic table space. Luckily enough, this place doesn’t seem like it’s ever THAT busy. There wasn’t much for…

  • sites are close together. we got lucky and took over the neighboring site’s picnic area. (your looking at two pull through campsites, from driveway to driveway)
  • Small sign when coming from the west, almost drove by!

Not bad

Not bad for a state park. Resembles more of a parking lot to me. Sites aren't very roomy. If you want a lake side spot you need to reserve very well in advance. Shower and restroom facilities could use an upgrade. Water levels were high during our stay so the beach was very small. However it's nice…
