River Raisin Canoe Livery & Campground

River Raisin Canoe Livery & Campground operates as a family-run business on private farmland, combining camping with canoe and kayak rentals from May through October. The facility locks its gate at 7pm since campers stay on the owners' residential property, and alcohol is prohibited on-site.

Sites range from primitive spots with pit toilets to RV sites with electric and water hookups, plus pull-through options for larger rigs. Site 11 sits in the far corner away from the entrance, while waterfront site 14 provides river access with shade. The campground includes a small playground and sandbox for children, though activities center primarily around paddling rather than swimming. Campers seeking additional options can explore campgrounds near Dundee in the surrounding area. At $20 per night for all sites, this spot works well for budget-conscious campers and those planning river-based activities.

Many campers appreciated the affordable rates and family-run hospitality at this water-focused campground. Several noted beautiful riverside sites and basic facilities, though activities beyond boating are limited.

Just what I like Simple and cheap. Not for partytime!

I am mostly a solo camper so finding cheap spots is getting MUCH too hard. @20$ a night flat for all spots (primitive with pit toilet) this place is not too bad, however it is HUGE deal for pull thrus and rvs and groups. Love this family run business, out of their personal residence and farm. Some caveats but It is a hidden gem! They lock the gate at 7pm since it is their home. No drinking.
This is also a kayak and canoe Livery so they have boats on site or you can bring you own and launch from their dock. Little playground area for small kiddos. Honestly not much else to do here, just how i like it.
Been here 3 times now, and will return again.

11 is a great spot in the corner as far away from the house and entrance as you can get, almost always the first site booked lol. It is a tad uneven.

14 was great on the water but still some good shade. Mostly flat.

16 saw a family at this spot when I was at 14 so I chose this one the next time to see why. I get it now, Lots of shade, very flat, best spot for people that like to spread but want shade.

9 and 17 are the "pullthru" sites

Nice riverside campground

Stayed here for the night in a tent only. Check-in went smoothly and they even adjusted my reservation site to add space between the other campers. The bathroom is a simple outhouse and there is a water pump from a well you can use to fill up at. They also have a playset and sandbox onsite as well as canoes/kayaks for rental.
