Sites are huge. Not level in the least. Need to have long sewer hose because sewer is at back of site - not a problem with rear hookups. Water spigot is dual site - meaning it could be on awning side if you get the wrong site. This site 002 the water is on the backside of camper so no long water…
Really enjoyed our one night stay here! Super clean campground and very very nice and helpful customer service folks. Welcoming and friendly! The pool was super clean and the whole campground was immaculate! Noise was not an issue even though close proximity to the highway. We loved our short…
Several pools to choose from, plus a beach and water obstacle course—our kids thought they’d found paradise! The bathhouses were clean, if not the newest we’ve seen. Close proximity to Mammoth Cave. Don’t miss the Amish bakery/cafe nearby!

5½ mph speed limit does not apply to golf carts. As a campground that rents them out, you would think they would restrict their equipment to follow their set speed limits
Hiking near the visitor center was good although we had trouble finding longer trails. We didn't book far enough in advance to do anything but the self guided cave tour. However the outlaw wild cave tour at nearby Jesse James stables was fantastic.
Amazing View. Close to Mammoth Cave as well.
My kids and I camp here when we plan to spend time at the park. It’s very convenient. Bathrooms are always clean too.
Decent facilities, well maintained. Sites are spacious with distance between. Short walk to visitor center/trailheads. Comes in handy if you need to queue up early for same-day cave tickets.

We camped here for 2 nights with our dogs. The campground has 4 loops. We were in the B loop. All the sites come with a stone bench and table and a fire pit with a cooking grate. The campsites provide a lot of shade, which is great in the summer month. They are not very private but spacious. Some…
The campground was well maintained and clean. Our campsite was fairly private and a lot of flat ground for multiple tents. The facilities were convenient and clean.
Love this campground. National Park and you could tell. Nice store close, with clean showers. Bathroom clean. Site was secluded. Composite picnic tables which was nice. Nature everywhere. Will be back

This campground should be nothing more then an overnight stop over. Small campground, no fire rings, rude camp host and over priced. I would not recommend.
This place makes the list each year for our family!! Each year we add people to tag along with us! This year 28 of us!! Kids Ages 3 months to 13 came along and had a blast!! This campground is the best one ever!!! Fun for all ages and plenty of activities in the park itself!! Plus there are many…

Clean restrooms, coin-OP showers, very well-maintained fire pits, and within biking or walking distance of the visitor's center (where the tours run from).
Definitely book cave tours in advance. When I visited they only had one walk-in tour available due to Covid restrictions.
It was still…

We chose to camp in a primitive site and ended up right on the lake. We are here during the week so it’s really nice and quiet!! Would definitely come back!
