We arrived on Sunday, when most people leave. The campground was a little confusing at first because the sign says next left, when the next left is the out driveway. The camp office/store was very clean and had practical items like batteries, firestarter, snacks and ice cream for the kiddos. There…

We travel in a triple axl so apply that to the review. Roads getting in are super winding but go slow and enjoy the stunning views! The site we got upon arrival had electric and water, but upon pull in we noticed all the hookups are shared between 2 sites and not very close. 37 ft away to be exact.…
Rocky Fork State Park doesn’t have a lot to offer unless you were there to boat or fish.
The park was very loud and more of a party crowd at least the weekend we were there. There were only 2 short hiking trails and they were both overgrown with no real views or destinations.

We arrived on Friday afternoon a little before check in time and were allowed to check in and go to our site. We stayed on campsite 61 which is just long enough for a 23ft camper and our truck to park next to the camper. The drop down from the pad was a little steep with no stairs. The campground…

Spots in the outsides of the loops are more spacious. We looked forward to the “beach” but it was very small and covered in algae. The lake was more like a large pond. There’s no running water so toilets were basically out houses. Lots of trails but they weren’t very exciting.
Negatives: This campground is pretty hilly. Many of the spots don't have a great space for a tent. The flattest spots are in the middle of the circle with an open field behind them (but then you won't have any privacy or tree coverage). Even the RV camping on the inside of the loop across from us…

Nice park not too far from the marina and boat ramp for Clifty Creek Grotto. Campground rules not enforced at all, so folks put their campers wherever, not necessarily on the pads. No worries about having a wheel in the grass! Bring all the leveling blocks you own because very few sites are level…
So this place is out there a little bit. Right beside the parking lot camp sites there is a nice lake and further up the road there is shooting range. As for the campsites themselves they are very old. The gave fire pits and old concrete picnic tables that have seen better days. No electric,…

Moxley is our favorite place to camp at beech fork. If you have kids it’s a great place for them also! Very clean bath houses and great people.
I was going to be in the area for 5 days. I went to the office, asked for 4 nights, I have a 2021 travel trailer. He said "overnight only". Its next to a busy highway.
This campground had a good, laid-back vibe. I had a site where I was able to put up a hammock. Many sites are along a pretty running stream. It was just a nice campground - I think it would be beautiful in the fall, it's a pretty winding road to get to the park.
Paved, well maintained sites but a bit close together. Don’t expect privacy if it’s booked. Reservations close 4 days prior, after that it’s first come, first serve. However, surprisingly very quiet during my visit. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and water & electric…
This campsite was a perfect fit for me, I was passing through on a weeknight and had no problem getting a site without reservation in August. Clean, quiet, and spacious sites, some had great tree cover.
This campground seems more geared towards small campers and cabin stays. Though tent sites are on site. It's located right off rt. 35. They have a campground office as well as a good shower house.
This campground has a lot to offer with electric and water hookups for RVs with back-in and pull through sites. They have a dump station as well as an onsite bathroom/shower house. The owners are very friendly. I highly recommend.
