Showers and bathrooms were very clean! Most campsites are pretty spread out and the pool was a plus. Beautiful trails right at the campground, and easy drive to others throughout Big South Fork. Make sure to bring bug spray though, the bugs here were worse than other campground Ives been to

Many of the sites have a view of the water. The sites are well separated leaving a lot of room for the kids and walking the dog as well.
There is a nice beach but no lifeguard. Lots of shade trees as well.
Great place for boaters and kayakers. There are multiple docks to set at and a put in road…
We had a great time. Bring the bug spray, sunscreen and plenty of exention cords. The campground needs investment as majority of the sites are narrow with difficult positions for hooking up and leveling, make sure you pay attention. To each site description. The Full hookup/Ada sites are new, the…

Beautiful spot close to the water. Secluded area that can be reached via GPS coordinates ONLY (we learned this after trying to check in at the Dale Hollow campground).
Things to know:
- there was no dumpster for trash
-hike in spot with vault toilet
- 45 minutes from Standing Stone State Park
Nice campground surrounded by forest. They have a pond for fishing and another pond for swimming with nice Sandy beach. They also put out bouncy houses for the kids at no extra cost. You can rent golf carts which is helpful since the campground is fairly large, the front and back sites are…

Best site for privacy is 49 plus it's pretty big. Sites 40-47 have electric and water. Sites 48-50 do not but all sites are close to the bath house. In my opinion, the privacy of site 49 was worth the lack of electricity and water. Site 50 was pretty close to the parking lot - I would not…

Staff as always been very friendly, sites are very spacious, there are trails for hiking, a playground and a beach. Only negatives are no showers and not much shade unless you get a site on the edge of the woods
Loved it! I've been to a couple of CoE campgrounds before but this is now my favorite one. I had Site 31 right beside the Woodland Trail entrance but you're pretty close to the lake (the boat ramp is about a 1/2 mile as the crow flies) and you're close to town (about 3 1/2 miles roughly) if you…
Campers paradise, with a FREE campground. Campsites are spacious depending on which one you get, and we'll spread out. Be wary of shy bears and bobcats.
Campground is closed, but the boat launch is open. Might be able to park in boat launch parking. Clean pit toilets.
Well maintained, large campground. Plenty of bathroom/shower facilities located around the campground; clean and functional. Lots of good hiking nearby, as well as other outdoor activities (that I didn’t do). Informative visitor’s center with helpful rangers onsite (even on weekends). Great…
Drive in camper spots, drive up to tent spots. Two ponds. Close to laurel lake. Gated and safe. Store for all your needs.
This is a large campground with excellent facilities. Big South Fork is located in a very remote area of TN and KY. Miles of Great hiking, biking, horse and motorized trails. There is plenty to see and all of it is beautiful. One of my favorite sites is the Twin Arches, worth the hike.
Big South Fork is the perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast. Literally anything you want to do, you can find it here- horseback riding, ATV riding, hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, backpacking, camping, fishing, hunting, swimming... I could go on, but you get the point. I have spent a…

You will drive and drive and drive...and drive on the gravel road. However the road is good and the signage will get you there! Follow the little tent signs to Little Lick Horse Camp in the woods of Daniel Boone NF. The Nathan McClure trailhead is in the campground so there will be other traffic…
