Electrical Issues

We were at site 5. When we arrived and hooked up the 30amp breaker kept flipping. We had just left crooked river and hadn’t had any issues. We told the camp host and she moved us to site 4 for the night. After 2 nights they told us the 30amp breaker was replaced and we could go back to site 5. Site…

Roadside Camping Playground

Weary-eyed after driving up or down I-95 for countless hours, but don't want the hassle of getting too far off the interstate to find a decent place to rest your weary head ... then look no further!  St. Mary's KOA is just a stone's throw once you get off the highway (just 2 lefts and 1 right and…

Great for kayakers at the right time of year

Stayed at campsite 8 for the night. It has its own little spot to launch kayaks / canoes from. We were able to get in the water as soon as the conditions looked perfect. There’s a covered picnic table area and a big fire ring. The only downside was that every hour, some local would drive up to the…

Great Overnight

Great location a 5 min. walk to the beach with very clean and well appointed bathrooms with showers. My only wish is that we had a longer stay!

Surf & Turf in Northern Florida

You really can have it all at this campground - with its 'next door' proximity to one of the most amazing beachheads on Florida's Atlantic coastline and quick access to the country's oldest town, St. Augustine to the countless nautical activities on the nearby Intracoastal all within a very…

Dogs are welcomed but ,,,,,

I love this park. Its clean. Staff is friendly. The attractions are amazing. Everyone keeps to themselves. The beach is not dog friendly, that's the only complaint I have. Even thoe my husband is disabled we still get harrassed by all the Karen's. And of course park rangers. It's a little…

Close to the Beach...not on the beach

This is a nice campground amongst the trees on Anastasia island in St. Augustine. It is a ways to the actual beach if walking or a short bike ride. Also, the critters here are abundant and intelligent. Dont think you are going to fool them with the usual tricks, they will find a way into your food…

Nice city park beach and lake

Stayed two nights in a 21 ft motorhome. Loved the city park with tons of amenities including beach and lake access. Provides full hook up with 30 or 50 amp service. Our site 283 was great as close to park entrance, beach access, lake and store. Only disappointed in the bath house shower…

Lovely even in winter

We stopped in for a weekend during the cooler Florida months. Was nice to sit by the fire. Lots of privacy. Restrooms clean. Music at an amphitheater close by was nice at night.

Easy highway access with wide RV spots

We stayed here for one night on our way to Florida. We checked in after dark and were able to easily find our site. Sites are grass, mostly level, and plenty wide (for a KOA) so you don’t feel on top of your neighbors. There are plenty of activities for the kids including a pool with water side,…

Eclectic sites just a bike or walk to beach

Each site was unique with trees and terrain. My site had amazing trees perfect for multiple hammocks around a sunken fire pit. Nice restroom and shower well cleaned by friendly volunteer staff. The loop I was on was meant for tents and maybe small pop RV’s and worked perfectly for my rooftop-tent…

Awesome beach side or river

Not only a great clean campground, with immaculate restrooms, boardwalk to the beach with great shelling, but a FORT too, on the beach!
