It's covid... but still.

Right now, nothing is open until memorial day weekend. So no beach and no pool. Also half the park is under construction, and for whatever reason (covid?) All of the bathrooms and showers are closed in the whole park. The only thing open is the laundry- but they don't have change machines or…

Family visit 2021

This KOA was close to family and friends. Stayed for five nights. It was clean and I felt safe. Staff were very helpful getting backed in and set up. Pool was nice and clean Down side/ 1: all the sites are so close together 2: the WI-FI is the worst of any KOA I have been to 3: other than the…

Nice stopping resort to see the attractions around Miami

The people are nice and the park clean. The sites are close together, I suppose to allow for many seasonal residents.

However, this park is located in an area where exotic fruit trees grow and many ornamental wholesale growers are. Dragon fruit, Mangos, Avocados and others.

An easy drive to visit…

Below the expectation for KOA campground

The staff is kind, polite and helpful. I understand that they have all the requirements of the KOA franchise but unfortunately, the maintenance of the spots is very poorly taken care of.

Clue's in the title. Midway

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Stayed 5 nights in 35 foot RV+tow car in 3 different sites. This was one of our least favorite stops so far. Essentially a circle of closely parked RV’s just off busy highway around a lake with gators(never saw any, but…

Just what we needed

Myself, my husband, and our 2 year old son recently started camping as a family. We originally chose Miami Everglades RV Resort as a site to test our new equipment. It is close to home, so we figured if something went wrong, we’d just pack up and come home. Much to our surprise, this site is…

Monument lake 2021

We decided to do the Florida national park tour and added big cypress even though it is a national preserve, not a park. This was a great little campground, but let me tell you when we drove into the park it was late and VERY dark. When we finally found the campground, we drove around 3 times…

This place is situated in the mirror middle of acres upon acres of ornamental trees and shrubs for sale by various companies. They’re currently was not a manager however issues we had our resolved fairly quickly. The spots are tight. There’s a really nice pool miniature golf in a walking trail…

Great basecamp for park exploration

Great campground, warm showers, clean. Some sites don’t gave shade, some quite small. Lots to do in Park. Beware of mosquitoes. Don’t come in the summer.

Good for families/groups; lots of road noise

This site was beautiful and well kept. The gentleman (park ranger?) who greeted everyone and made sure the rules were followed was very nice and answered all of our questions. I appreciated that he was around as it make me feel safer if I were to travel alone. This is a great site for families or…

So small, so ghetto.

So the location is very convenient, however... This place is tiny and located basically in a neighborhood just off the highway. No amenities to speak of. They have a laundry room and very small store. No trees other than a few scattered palms. The patio furniture and fire places are nice but that…
