    Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona

    2nd trip under our belt

    Like the title says, this is my wife and I second campsite on our trip across America. Our stay was for 10 days from May 22 through June 1st. This site had a different vibe than the first. This park seems to be more residential folks than travelers. Grounds are well maintained with lots of activities. Activities include tennis/pickleball courts, putt-putt, playground for kids, volleyball, and a swimming pool. Conveniently located close to I95 with restaurants and shopping within 10-15 minutes. If you are beach goers, it took about 20 minutes to get to Ormond Beach by car. Also, if you are a racecar fan, the Daytona 500 Speedway is within 20 minutes. The campsite was nice and quiet during both day and night and people stayed to themselves. I will say the site's are close together and depending on how big your rig is will depend greatly on how hard or easy it will be to park. I have a 40ft Thor Challenger class A and I had to maneuver a few times before I fit. The streets are also narrow for bigger rigs. The biggest problem I ran into was when we left you have to make a U turn out of the complex to get back to I95. The big problem was I'm too big to just make a U turn anywher, if at all. I had to go a few miles out of the way to just turn around to head the right way for the freeway. Overall, I enjoyed this campsite other than the minor inconvenience of getting back to the freeway when departing.

    Charming Little Campground by the Water

    We only stayed here for one night, but it’s a really nice little campground built around a large pond. Everything is well maintained, and there are some lovely covered seating areas right by the water where you can relax. The host was very friendly as well. The only downside to this campground is that there are no showers and no direct water hookup at the campsites. Other than that, it’s a really lovely and enjoyable place to stay.

    Lovely little well kept rv park located right across from the Indian River. There’s a few restaurants in walking distance and the manger was very kind and helpful for a last minute stay.

    Relaxing Waterfront Campground

    This is a small but very relaxing campground right by the water, surrounded by wildlife. You can spot several alligators, and at night there are lots of frogs creating a truly impressive natural soundtrack. Considering the waterfront location, there are surprisingly few mosquitoes, which was a nice bonus. The showers and restrooms are simple and clean. For the price, this campground is an absolute gem and offers really good value.

    This is our second time visiting in the last month or so. They are still working on repairing the sea wall, but the views are breathtaking. Flagler beach is a sleepy little beach town. Great vibes!

    If you’re looking for an authentic “Old Florida” experience surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, this campground is truly something special. My husband and I brought our two grandchildren and daughter-in-law here for a family camping trip, and it exceeded every expectation we had.

    The property is absolutely stunning — over 500 acres of peaceful scenery filled with lakes, wildlife, and beautiful open spaces. We spent time exploring on a four-wheeler and were amazed by everything we saw, from alligators and countless birds to longhorn steers, goats, and ducks roaming the grounds. It felt like stepping into a hidden slice of natural Florida paradise.

    One of our favorite areas was the shaded grove of majestic oak trees with oversized swings where the children played and “hung out”. It created such a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere that made the entire trip feel magical.

    The campground itself was extremely well maintained. The restrooms and showers were plentiful, spotless, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It’s also exciting to see how much love and vision is being poured into the property. During our stay, they appeared to be expanding with what looks like a beautiful waterfront wedding venue complete with a gazebo and bridge — absolutely picturesque.

    This was one of the most memorable family trips we’ve had in a long time. The combination of natural beauty, peaceful surroundings, wildlife, and thoughtful amenities made for an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to returning.

    Beautiful Nature Escape with cool Wildlife

    This is a really nice campground surrounded by beautiful nature. The bathhouse is a little older, but still fine. The area itself is really impressive though, with lots of wildlife all around. If you take a short walk, you’ll find a spot with a water view and tons of seating areas — a really beautiful place to relax. For the price, you honestly can’t complain. There are quite a lot of insects at night, so bringing good bug spray is definitely a good idea. But for our one-night stay, it was absolutely worth it.
