First time out
My wife and I are brand new to rving as of May, 1st of 2026. So with that being said, this is our first campgrounds we have ever stayed at rving. Check in was extremely quick and easy took less than five minutes. Being a first time rver, the spot I was given made it nice and easy to back into. I have a 39 foot class, A motorhome, and I fit with no problem and a car. Our spot was in the back of the park, and there was plenty of grass and field to walk my dog. The field behind us also has benches that you can sit down and relax and enjoy the sunset or there's a farm not too far behind, which has cows that come to the fence. I have a 50 amp, hook up and sewer and water were all provided in my spot and they were easy to connect. This place has plenty of amenities, like miniature golf, shuffleboard, horse shoes, a pool, a basketball hoop, a pool table in the clubhouse and games and books you can read. Our stay was for twenty one days and it was a zero cost because of our membership to Thousand Trails camping club. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here for a short stay or a longer one.

Beautiful resort with amazing amenities, just a few areas for improvement!
We recently stayed at Splash RV Resort at site 83 and had a great experience overall. Our site was excellent, featuring a decent little yard, and it was almost perfectly level—only about a half-inch off from left to right across the width of our camper. There was also plenty of room to park our F-450 right in front. The resort's location is perfect for day trips to the nearby beaches, and the roads inside the park are great with very easy access from the highway. (Note: There isn't much shopping nearby besides a Dollar General, so come prepared!) The facilities here are absolutely amazing. The bathhouses and laundry rooms are honestly resort-quality. We also ordered the cinnamon rolls a day in advance, and they were incredible. The resort app works flawlessly—we used it to request a propane refill, a fire pit, and firewood, and the service was incredibly fast every time. Almost all of the employees were super awesome and friendly. The only negative interaction we had was with the older lady working at the camp store. She constantly hounded us multiple times about not wearing our wristbands. Given that the resort has a gate code, gated security, and guest lists, the aggressive monitoring felt like overkill—especially since I personally cannot sleep with things on my wrists. To make this place a true 10/10, I have a few suggestions for management: 1 The Pizza: While the other poolside food was surprisingly good, the pizza was a letdown. It was a typical frozen, "waterpark-style" reheated pizza that cost $20. For that price point, the resort should definitely choose a higher-quality option. 2 Pool Sun Shades: Currently, the sun shades are over the shallow section of the adults-only pool. These really should be moved over the children’s section (at least on one side). Kids are much more sensitive to the sun and it’s always a struggle to get them out of the water to reapply sunscreen. 3 The Fitness Center: It was pretty pathetic and could definitely use a functional trainer or better equipment to match the quality of the rest of the resort. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay with top-tier amenities, and we would definitely come back!

Stayed here for 6 nights in May 2026 while visiting my daughter. Campsite was easy to access, level, full hookups. Was within a mile or so of I-95 but the noise level was not bad at all. Had some minor pixelation with the Cable TV hookups but nothing major. I needed to extend my reservation by a day and the staff was very helpful in accommodating the request. Was able to use Verizon 5G with 3 bars. Would definitely stay here again.

This is just another trailer park that has units that appear older, some sites are cluttered and not well maintained. Upkeep may not meet everyone’s expectations. It may work for some travelers, but those looking for a newer or more polished RV resort experience should keep looking for something better than this place.

We are repeat guests at Tropical Palms. The park as a whole is very well kept and pretty. Some of the sites are very uneven but the staff is understanding and moves you to a new site.
This park has an amazing pool and gym! They also have great activities all year around. It is a very active park. The pickleball courts are very well maintained.

a hidden gem!
I heard one too many bad reviews from this park and was apprehensive. However our first stay was amazing! The front office staff was so kind and helpful. We have sincec stayed with them several times and we have more bookings on the calendar. We are Thousand Trails members so this is a great location. You are allowed to receive mail to your site. You are also about 15 minutes from Disney and 20 minutes from Universal.
This park has a pool and small gym, also has a small library for guest use.
