Really big and perfect location

Hi Jolly is BLM so it’s free which means you need to be self-contained.

Although we are here in the winter, it’s full but not packed. The spots are large and able to accommodate our Class A. This area has a park host, so if he’s there, check in. It’s clean, lots of dogs (which I am a fan of…we…

Near the action but not the noise.

Everyone here has been friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean an activities are planned and encouraged without feeling pressured. Love it here!

Rocky start.

This year started off with a shift in park management. The new park manager was not suited for what was required to run this park. Senior management for this company terminated the park manager. This left the park with only 2 employees. Despite the shortage in manpower, Nona, and Jesse have kept…

Almost Heaven

Found a great private spot on Dome Rock Rd. Beautiful views all around and plenty of room, so far.

Nice BLM

You can stop earlier than this just be cautious about the no camping signs. I went back to the empty tanks area and then went in from there. You can get stuck in some sand but if you stay in more gravel area you should be fine. Did see some coyotes so be careful with small animals during the night.…

Tent camping

Living in a tent is a challenge, but it pushes me and bring out my basic survival instincts. Especially during the cold nights. But with preparation (be prepared as taught in boy scouts) and adapting to changing circumstances, it becomes a normal reality. Solar panel, 12v 100ah deep cycle battery …

The Good and the Bad

The good: water, trash, dump are all available here. Very level ground. The bad: people. So many people. The price you pay for the good.

Excellent park

We called while inbound. Our site is clean, level and roomy. The cafe has limited hours. But will try it out tomorrow for breakfast. The pool is open, and heated. The staff is nice, the laundry facilities are very clean, reasonably priced and the office makes change. We had breakfast at the super…

Wide open in December

Found the whole Quartzsite area intriguing and lots of activities i.e. craft shows, swap meets and other get together’s. If you do not have a four-wheel-drive then there are not many outdoor activities. We saw delivery trucks for emptying black tanks, Propane, and water. Quartzsite has everything…

Shady Lane

We had a warm welcome and were happily surprised to meet our fellow Vermont owners of this campground! Breezy and Finius were home away from home for us and our two pups. The campground is super affordable and had the best overall feel. Clean and beautifully landscaped. Friendly campers and we even…

Great spot

Large dispersed camping. Boondocking here was easy, close to town and beautiful sunrise/sunset. The host was nice. No fee camping so how could anyone complain! Flat land with lots of room to explore.

Big and small possibilities

We stopped in here this past spring in our return North. Really made for bigger self enclosed rigs, we made use of recharging our batteries (also showers and laundry) after several weeks of boondocks camping in our tear drop trailer. This year after selling our home in Reno we are here in our 25’…

Good overnight

Has an after-hours Dropbox for spot picking. We found a large pull through since we had a class A pulling a trailer. LOTS of other options in this little town if no spot available. RV service and parts around the corner and local market. 50⚡️ 💧👍
