A quiet place

Our site was right by the entrance and near a stream bed that was dry. It was incredibly quiet, silent even, at night. Gorgeous but a little chilly.

Big park, close to the lake

Nice park with many sites to choose from. The site we stayed in was set up so that open space was shared with the neighboring site, The front doors faced each other. We visited in June so the cotton from the cottonwood trees was everywhere and made the kids allergies go crazy. The park, pool,…

Keep Going Up the Road

The initial campground was definitely an RV only type of place as there was no coverage to take care of business.

But if you keep going up the road there are more than a few turnouts worth staying at for those of us with tents.

We found a decently sized one roughly 4 and a half miles up the…

Beautiful scenery, well maintained campgrounds, lots of mosquitoes

The area and scenery were gorgeous! The hosts were lovely and helpful. The water was cool and there were tons of people there with paddle boards, canoos, tents, and dogs.

The only downside was that this year there were an obscene amount of mosquitoes.

*Be aware that this campsite reservations…

Pretty views and great hiking

This was a short weekend getaway for us. Nice campsites near a creek. It is a little close to the highway but there wasn’t much traffic. The shingle creek trailhead was close and the hiking is beautiful. We saw a moose about 30 feet from our campsite drinking from the creek. Clean but minimal…

Very nice campsites, hosts were super nice

I did an overnight here on Memorial Day weekend at campsite 13. The campsites were very nice, there are 2 pit restrooms, each campsite has a fire pit with a heavy duty grill top and a picnic table. There were plenty of flat spots for our tent. The only gripes I had are that it's right next to the…

Nice weekend getaway

Beautiful campground, lots of trees and privacy. However, you can’t bring big rigs there only smaller trailers or tent camping. Very close to Tibble Fork Reservoir where there’s great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. You can swim too, but the water is pretty cold.

Closed

Was unable to get in, this whole area was under closure. No for sure for how long. It wasn't a normal seasonal closure. Cuz all the areas around it are opened.

Nice campground, secluded and quiet

Have been going to this campground every year for nearly 60 years. Things have definitely changed, but still enjoy my visits there.

Gorgeous view

There is the dispersed camping right when you turn in, however if you keep going up the mountain there is a super small turn off to the right then brings you up a little hill and there’s a few more sites I would have missed if I want so nosey. The view is amazing but the sites up here have so much…

Full amenities, clean, friendly

I was an off season guest at this RV park in February. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the park including the restroom and campsites, and the amenities; market, water, electricity and Wi-Fi.

This is not the campsite you go to to be alone in nature, as…

  • Provo Jordan River Trail behind the park
  • A big oil company sign collection decorates area businesses by the RV park.
  • Horse and dairy farms along the trail behind the RV park.

Quiet Little Campground

Cute little campground. The RV sites are pretty close together, but there are spaces with shade trees. We went in August 2020 and there were so many bugs. The campground is located right off the main road that takes you to Utah Lake so there can be a lot of traffic going down the road. The facility…

Loved this place!

We stayed in mid October when the campground is first come first serve. Good thing we got there early in the morning (it was Saturday) because they had just closed an entire loop that significantly reduced the number of sites. We got the last one available but it was a really nice site with a lot…
