Do not stay here

Beautiful land unfortunately plagued by awful guests. Showed up to our campsite to 3 trash bags worth of trash that we collected. The following day we came back to our stuff stolen and gone.

Great Site

Get there early, they seem to fill up fast. I got one of the last spots in the area around 4PM. Wind was strong until about 6PM, then it was mellow the rest of the night. Easily made it to site in my SUV.

Great place to camp

We stayed only one night to be closer to Zion. Our class B camper van made it fine on the uneven terrain. Just go slow. The snow had melted from the previous day by the sun so it didn’t affect us. Easy to find a spot. Beautiful sun rises! Definitely recommend.

Milky Way

Very open and beautiful landscape, there are plenty of sites on the BLM land so we didn’t have trouble finding one. The Milky Way was visible across the entire sky.

Beautiful views

Very secluded area with trail nearby. The emplacements away from the main road can be very muddy and difficult to access with a regular car. Fire ring, peaceful and gorgeous views. Near Zion.

Good Spot

Easy access off of rt 9. Our 99 pleasureway RV van was able to make it to the campsite... Very slowly. First few spots were small , site 45 and 46 was spacious with great views. there are no trees for shade and no services. This is true boondocking. Summertime is really hot!!!!

Easy Squeezy

Arrived after dark in the Zion area late October. Same day Zion campsites were gone. Found a nice little campsite that fit two camper vans. In a bit of depression, out of the wind. Woke up to a wonderful view. Caution, along this road is a wash, and looks like in heavy rains it probably floods the campsites.

Easy to find, not far from highway

Easy to find, not far from highway. About 30min from Zion visitor centre (according to google maps). Visited in July, gravel road to get here but it was well maintained. Sites are clearly marked about 5-10mins from the info board. Heaps of room! Stars were fantastic !

Beautiful!

Really easy to find. Just need to pass through some homes to get to the BLM land. You will pass the sign for hurricane cliffs and continue for about a mile or so and you will see the first sites available. This place is called hurricane cliffs for a reason. Tons and tons of wind!

Fairly close to Zion, great AT&T cell signal

Stayed 3 nights. Reasonably close to the south entrance of Zion National Park, about 17 miles. Mostly level, dirt parking area with a couple dozen sites or more. About that many campers when I was there but not crowded this time of year. Close to highway 9 but little road noise after dark. I had great AT&T cell signal. Good for digital nomads like me. Work in the morning, play in the afternoon (or vice versa). Great stargazing. Lots of red rock all around.

Beautiful area

Beautiful area but the roads to the sites are really rutted out and you have to get there early to even find a spot.

Great sites within 30 minutes of Zion

Perfect place to stay for getting into Zion early. Easy gravel roads to get to 40-46, if those are taken the drive will get a fair bit longer. Huge selection of sites available. Enter on sheep's bridge Rd.

Great Spot Outside Zion

Great spot! Super easy to get to - only a mile or so of gravel road but well kept. There are fire rings at each campsite and plenty of space (2-3 cars). Only 30 minutes from Zion south entrance. There appears to be more campsites down the road but didn’t check. Most of the 40-48 were used by dinner time on a Monday. Would recommend and come back!

Dispersed campsites #40-48 Spur

This is the 4th dispersed camping spur the BLM has established along Sheep Bridge Road. This spur road is downhill and narrow but alot of large rvs seem to manage. I would recon before venturing down. This is the closest spur to the Zion Hwy accesd
