Stunning 360 views

Camped here in May 2021. Absolutely gorgeous. We chose the last spot before going down the hill toward the river and could see Mexican Hat, the river, and a wonderful sunset. There were only two other people camping in the vicinity (it was a Thursday) and they were far away so we had the spot…

Lots of space

Great open spaces. Neat and tidy. Bathrooms and showers not open due to COVID-19. Good views and easy check in and pull-thru. Very peaceful!!!

Beautiful spot!

Easy to find, we picked a spot off to the right of Mexican Hat Rock Rd, right at the base of Mexican Hat. Explored more spots accessible via 4WD only on our bikes. We got to our spot with a small camper trailer and we saw a few other cars who found other spots you could get to without 4WD. Really…

Awesome spot with lots to explore!

We loved this site! There are a lot of little canyon trails to explore for all ages! Super close to both Goblin Valley and Little Wildhorse Canyon! Highly recommend the Little Wild Horse Canyon / Bell Canyon hike. Bring lots of water and make sure your pets stay hydrated as well! Went over Memorial…

Great Dispersed Camping!

Went during Memorial Day weekend 2021 and was not busy. If you continue going down Wild Horse Road, you can certainly find a secluded spot to park your RV or setup your tent. Traveling on Wild Horse Rd. from Goblin Valley Road is paved and pretty easy to navigate. If you're looking for that "je ne…

Gorgeous, camp here!

Awesome find, definitely better than the "people pastures" along mt temple road. Lots of cool camp spots along the cliffs, not a lot of places to dig holes to do your business so bring a way to pack it out. Great place for kids to play and doggies to run around. Super close to Goblin Valley…

Gorgeous views

I camped right up next to the rooster butte, the rocks there added a degree of privacy. Went on some great hikes around the spot. There’s a couple different spots by rooster once you drive up towards it. Each spot had a semi made firepit. I was the only one parked near it so spots were easy to find…

Top 3 favorite places to camp

This place is amazing. The sky is as dark as I’ve ever seen it and the dispersed camping is as if you were on another planet. Great slot canyon hikes near by.

Valley of the Gods is indescribably beautiful. We camped here on a Friday and had no trouble finding a spot that was secluded and free from others. The nearest campers to us were over 400 yards away. There truly isn’t a bad camp site here. It’s all dispersed style camping with no amenities. It’s a…

Beautiful Scenery, Lots of space

i arrived around 1 am and the place was practically empty, although there is so much space i don’t think more people being there would’ve been an issue. you can get closer to the river if you’d like or stay back a bit, either way it’s beautiful. you absolutely should visit

Surprisingly crowded

Lots of campsites, but there were more campers around during a summer weekend than I preferred.

Nice BLM campground

This CG is not just group sites, it has loop A for renters/vans with a length trailers. Loop B is the larger loop for TT and RVs. Two groups sites ( A n B) in between by the heavily used boat ramp area. Trash, toilets, water available. Cell signal is marginal. The west end of…

This was by far our favorite family camping experience ever. We found a great space tucked into the cliffs the provide privacy, space for the kids to explore and play for hours on end, and enough space that we could spread out our camp. We did do Valley of the Goblins and Little Wild Horse Slot…
