Great place for monument Valley

This is Monument Valley Koa. It is fairly new. Gravel roads and sites. Clean and we'll kept. There are new small trees planted, but no shade. The sites are large and the roads are wide. Plenty of room for larger rigs. We had only 1X Verizon service. We could receive and send texts. They have wifi,…

Awesome spot with lots to explore!

We loved this site! There are a lot of little canyon trails to explore for all ages! Super close to both Goblin Valley and Little Wildhorse Canyon! Highly recommend the Little Wild Horse Canyon / Bell Canyon hike. Bring lots of water and make sure your pets stay hydrated as well! Went over Memorial…

Great Dispersed Camping!

Went during Memorial Day weekend 2021 and was not busy. If you continue going down Wild Horse Road, you can certainly find a secluded spot to park your RV or setup your tent. Traveling on Wild Horse Rd. from Goblin Valley Road is paved and pretty easy to navigate. If you're looking for that "je ne…

Clean but CROWDED

This is a very new, very small KOA. Trees are newly planted and sites are SMALL. If you like your front yard to contain your neighbors "poop-shoot", water line and electric box, then this is for you. With all the open land, it's too bad this campground couldn't double (or triple) the site sizes. …

Gorgeous, camp here!

Awesome find, definitely better than the "people pastures" along mt temple road. Lots of cool camp spots along the cliffs, not a lot of places to dig holes to do your business so bring a way to pack it out. Great place for kids to play and doggies to run around. Super close to Goblin Valley…

An Oasis in Monument Valley

This KOA is located right across the road from soem of the manor buttes in Monumewnt Valley, right in the heart of Navaho Country. We discovered this campground on our first trip to the American Southwest post COVID. This facility is newly owned and very well updated by way of lavatories, showers…

Top 3 favorite places to camp

This place is amazing. The sky is as dark as I’ve ever seen it and the dispersed camping is as if you were on another planet. Great slot canyon hikes near by.

Stunning Views with Good Facilities

One of best camp spots I’ve had. Pictures can’t do justice to how breathtaking the views are, and the campsites are amazingly close to the rim.

I’m typically a tent camper but read in other reviews that this is a windy spot. It is - and I hit it on an especially windy day. I car camped, which was…

Surprisingly crowded

Lots of campsites, but there were more campers around during a summer weekend than I preferred.

Great views

Small utah state park. Sites are on barren ledge above the goosenecks. No water and wind could be an issue here for tents primarily. $5 day use, $10 camping.

This was by far our favorite family camping experience ever. We found a great space tucked into the cliffs the provide privacy, space for the kids to explore and play for hours on end, and enough space that we could spread out our camp. We did do Valley of the Goblins and Little Wild Horse Slot…

Spectatcular View!

Great view, that is really hard to beat. There are only 8 assigned sites with tables and shelters, so get there as early as you can if you want one of them. Otherwise, there is plenty of room around the rim to disperse however you’d like. You can pull in after they close and camp, just use the…

Free sandblasting

Check the weather before you go! Our first night the area was quite busy, but most people packed up and left on a Saturday morning. Unusual. Then the wind began, and it ripped up our camp mat, tossed over the kitchen table and rocked us until we cried uncle and left a day later. Gorgeous place. No…

A fantastic view!

We were able to stay on the short pull through row& got a view to die for! Those with small class c, truck camper& tent sites got the front row, which is completely unobstructed. Road noise at night was not an issue. There are big rig sites too. The bath house looked brand new. Very clean.…
