Nice People!

Nice spot for one RV with water and electricity. The off-leash area for the dogs is huge! There is no dumping, but they do have a porta potty set up (that somehow doesn't stink!).

The owners are incredibly nice and pretty laid back about arrival and departure times. They even gave us eggs from…

Lovely park-like setting

Well maintained, clean, beautiful spot close to the river. Large campsites with clean table and fire pits. Nice showers. Very green and full of birds. Short river walk. It is close to the highway and can be loud at time. Right now, same rate for residents/non-residents ($26), it doesn't take…

USFS campground along highway 395

This is a basic USFS campground north of Burns, Oregon off of 395. There are few campgrounds off this highway so we always camp here. The fee is $10. There are vault toilets and seasonally a camp host with firewood. Standard clean vault toilets and water during high season. Fire ring and picnic…

Nice simple campground with plenty of room.

We like this campground because it’s very open and easy to maneuver in. The sites are spread out and not close together.

Up in the woods

We ended up at this spot after finding roads closed by snow farther up the hill. It had plenty of fairly flat ground for our 26” skoolie. There was a fire ring, but we didn’t use. It got very cold at night. We were fine in our bus, but our traveling partner had his water bottle freeze in his tent.…

USGS campground off highway 395

This campground is located off highway 395 in the Malheur National Forest. We camped in space 11 near the entrance after driving the loop almost back to the beginning near the single rustic vault toilet. We stayed there in late October and paid $5, ½ of the $10 camping fee. The water was shut off…

Great campground

We arrived here in late November...stayed two nights. Beautiful. The night went down to 18° and we were the only ones here. Beautiful spot. The campsites are nicely spaced apart and all have a fire ring and a picnic table. The other reviewer did a perfect job describing this place. Check it out.

Beautiful camping above the Deschutes River

This was a gorgeous and peaceful stop on our trip around Oregon. All sites are first come first serve. We were there mid week and didn’t have trouble getting a spot, but it sounds like it’s busier on the weekends. We could not believe this beautiful and well kept park was completely free! We can’t…

Convenient, kinda...

This really is an RV spot. Yes, you can tent camp here but it's expensive ($24 for Oregon residents, $34 for out of staters) and it's right next to the road. It's loud. Really loud. Wake you up when you're sleeping loud.

That said, it does have all amenities: good Verizon service, firewood for…

Nicely maintained CG on OR Hwy 26

We hadn’t planned to stop here but with the day quickly disappearing on us we pulled in to the Clyde Holliday SP campground and had a very good night. Beautifully maintained grounds with nicely spaced sites. Easy to pull in and set up the tent. Mostly RVs but a handful on tent campers too. Clean,…
