Grand Hot Springs

Nice place, typical RV Resort, everyone side by side with very little shade. Autumn took my reservation and I specifically asked for a good place for wifi for a meeting. Autumn accommodated and put me in #51, close the office. Staff were friendly. Front office and laundry area very clean. Prices…

Minam State Campground

What a gem to find while looking for a place to stay without reservations. This state park is first come first serve and cost $10/night. There are four great spots by the river for RV's. There are a couple of nice spots for tenting and a couple RV spots in the grass. There are about 6 spots for…

Cozy, small campground.

Great little campground far enough from the interstate to be peaceful. 4 spots available so it fills up fast. About a mile of decent dirt road, a few washboards and potholes, just go slow. Vault toilet was very clean. Verizon was 2 bars, 4g but slow. Wifiranger with AT&T was very fast. Overall…

Nice for a quick stop

Some road noise but the campsites are along the river. There was trash service, toilets and water that you can fill up water jugs with. There is a trail if you head North that winds up and puts you on the Oregon trail, I biked it on my ebike, it is pretty strenuous and bumpy. There is also a trail…

Full service Casino campground

Great whether into the casino scene or not. We use it for an on-the-way stop over. There is a full RV/truck stop fueling station at this location with a C-store.  Pull thru sites. Sites are narrow/small. Full hook ups. Very easy roads/maneuvering in and out. All paved. Very convenient to the…

Large family campground in a nice Lake setting

This is a large busy Campground it fills up quickly in the summer. It's on a nice Blake however the lake levels can vary radically. There is a RV dump station here for a small fee. $5 when we were there. Boat ramp nearby. Shoreline access can multiple locations

Nice park and amazing heated pool

Stayed in July 2021 for a night on the way to WA. Park staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The hot spring pool was so relaxing despite the crowd. The toilets are heated so it’s good for the cold weather, although not all campgrounds are near the toilets located in the main building. There’s a…

Quaint despite being on the road

Simple but very cute CG. Good sized sites, clean bathrooms right on little river currently damned by a local beaver and therefore good for a dip. Beautiful area with lots of options. The sites by the road are actually best IMHO because they are biggest and offer the best shade. Current cosmetic…

Good place to spend the night

Stopped here for one night on a cross country road trip. 20 minutes off of 84. 3 immediate sites off the road, then toilets, then more sites down the road. Past toilets road is slightly washed. Road noise is present from first 3 sites

Good for a few nights

We had a tent and SUV that we also sometimes sleep in. There were plenty of spaces to choose from, even arriving on a Saturday evening. Everyone was pretty quiet and spread out. At night it got very loud with animals though—we think coyotes were howling from midnight until 3 AM!

Pretty but loud!

This is a really nice and maintained campground but the traffic noise from the interstate was awful. It was sometimes hard to carrying on a conversation because of the noise. I probably will not stay here again.

Union Creek Campground (south of Baker City)

Note this is NOT the southern Oregon campground near the Rogue, this is on Phillips Reservoir lake in eastern Oregon.  Nice campground, some sites with hookups.  Sites are nicely spaced and private enough, and the basic facilities are clean.  Nice atmosphere.  Minimal cell service on Verizon.  I'm…

Very Secluded--Free Campground

This is a free First come First Serve National Forest Service campground and thus, there seem to be folks living here full time. Lots of trailers, cars that looked like they didn't run and dogs off leash.  It's down at the end of a long bumpy road and no cell service. There was also a large Class A…

Quiet on a Loud Creek

Before I drove down here, I'd read some reviews about the road not being pot-holed and washboard, but I decided to risk it with my van and so glad I did! I found a level site for my van with neighbors not too close. (Oddly, they were folks I knew from Portland, go figure!)

Spent one night in…
