ROAD CLOSED

Drove ten minutes down a road to come to a one-lane underpass with a gate across it. Turned around and disperse camped closer to the exit.

This location inaccurate

The true Red Bridge park is a decent little roadside spot. We drove thru, didn’t stay. Next to road but not too busy. Day use area is riverside and very nice. But this location is shown wrong. When you head out past Hilgard Junction (which is accurately shown) you first come to Bird Track Springs…

Decent Campground

We went during Memorial day weekend which is a very busy camping weekend. It's a cool spot and the drive there is beautiful. It's the only campground in the general area meaning it's the only bathroom nearby. I'm sure the experience would be different if it wasn't a busy weekend. The entire time…

Wonderful no frills Camping

A real gem on the Grand Ronde River. No water, no trash cans but two composting toilets. Paved sites and lots of trees. Most sites are private, and a couple 4 and 14 accommodate larger groups (2-3). The grounds could have been a bit more maintained but that’s me being picky. We went the day after…

Great early season camping

Small campground next to a nice river. No screening between sites, so might not be great when it’s full. Also some highway noise, but didn’t bother us at all

Nice place to go and just relax on your way to your next destination

First of all, the staff is very nice and respectful. The campground is very clean. The bathrooms have showers and are well kept. They provide wifi, water, sewer and power at the sites. It's a bit pricey for being as basic as it is but when you look around at other campgrounds in the area and…

Well maintained, friendly staff.

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. Plenty of room for big rigs, lots of space. Hook-ups were maintained as well as the grounds. They have a good size hot spring pool that was about 104-106. My man is picky about heat, and was happy with the temp. These are wide open spots so everyone…

Nice Park-like setting, because it is.

Just a half mile from I-84, you’ll get a little truck noise but was worth the $34 for an overnight stay.  Pulled In right before 5:00PM on a Sunday and was able to check in before the help went home.  I had made previous reservations so checkin was a snap. Have a 28’ class C with a toad. The pull…

Gorgeous spot!

Really cute tucked away tent spots. AMAZING VIEWS. Best restrooms and showers we’ve ever seen. Actually left later than planned as we wanted to use the showers. Only hitch to this place is the restrooms are a bit far from the tent spots. Staff was very nice.

Best campground

We have stayed here many times. 10 years ago was one of our favorites. Our families came from all over Oregon and Washington, even California. We came from Missouri. What an amazing family reunion. The park rangers were so nice. They had informed classes about animals in the forest. The Jr…

Love The Fishing

I always love camping and fishing the valley, this camping ground is free to use. It is very clean and has great fishing during trout season. Make sure you get here early if you have a rv or trailer during the summer as it’s first come, first serve and locals love the place.

Grass parking lot

No actual hot springs, warm pool. No awnings or pop up sun shields except what is physically attached to vehicle. So in a desert camping with no shade or outdoor rugs. I understand sudden winds can take these items but the spot isn't large enough to turn my rig as the sun moves for my one awning to…

Scenic campground along 395

This state park campground has 27 sites without hook ups. It is situated between Highway 395 and scenic Camas Creek. There are flush toilets and water is available. If there is a camp host, there should be firewood for sale. We have camped there in the fall just before it closed for the season…
