Great place to relax

Great host A+++

Flys were out as normal but still very enjoyable place,

  • lake superior clam no rocks for the hound's
  • the ladder strairways to the beach are not the best design

Aune Osborn campground

We had a great stay at Aune Osborn. Beautiful quiet place. Friendly staff, pet friendly and freighter watching.

Good basecamp, especially for ORV users

At 217 acres, Muskallonge Lake State Park is on the smaller side. However, it is a great basecamp to visit the many scenic locales throughout the northeastern section of the Upper Peninsula.

The campsites vary immensely in size throughout but include both paved, gravel, and grass sites in…

Peak Fall Color Camping

This is a family friendly campground. Even though harvest fest was canceled this year, there were still plenty of Halloween decorated campsites and kids dressed up in their best costumes to get some candy around the campsites. The showers are warm and the bathrooms are clean. 30 amp service was…

Great Eastern UP Trip Location

The campground is located in s a spot that allows you to tour the eastern UP making day trips to many of the best places to visit. Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Soo Locks, Drummond Island, Seney, and even Pictured Rocks are a short to moderate day trip from this site.

The campground is…

Love it here

The site supervisor was an awesome guy, we had a nice conversation. I was camping alone and from out of state, kind of a rite of passage for me since I wanna be a manly man 🤣👌 This place was absolutely beautiful and will remember it forever

Great state park, especially for ORVs

Spent 4 nights at the park. Had a chance to get a site in the more secluded sites near the boat launch. It was fantastic site with plenty of room to park my TV and 35’ trailer. Sites were clean. Park was clean.

The park is close to many popular ORV trails and it caters to those folks. The park was…

Nice Park, Beautiful Trails

We arrived at this park late Friday night and couldn’t set up because it was pouring and ended up staying the the first night in our car. I was nervous because it looked like our site was primarily dirt and I thought for sure it would all be mud the next day. However to my pleasant surprise…

Great Wifi

29.00 a day with full hook-ups. 21.00 without sewer. All come with free cable tv and wifi antennas ever couple hundred feet so you get internet from any spot in the park. The newer side of the park has large spaces with plenty of room to stretch. No crazy rules here. Laundry machines are only 1.25…

Basically a field with power.

We stayed here for a wedding a couple of years ago. Brand new camper, maiden voyage so really excited. The folks in the office were nice and that is the only reason for the two stars. It is a grassy field with unreliable power. It was super hot and the park wasn’t even half full, yet our AC kept…

Small and sweet

Open and not much shade but large sites. Very small beach. It is first come first serve self register and all of the registration sheets were out when we checked it. Though they are one of the few campgrounds along highway 2 with sites available in the later afternoon. Also it is far enough…

The secret may be out...

Growing up camping in the area, I’ve never seen so many campers! I’m assuming it’s due to the pandemic and people coming up to The UP. We meant to camp at Lake Superior State Campground but it was packed every single day even MIDWEEK! We drove over to Blindsucker 1 but the sites where very close to…
