Otsego Lake State Park

Beautiful park. Every worker was extremely kind and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were clean as was the whole park. Will be coming back here for sure!

Very nice camping

We enjoyed our time here, sites are bigger with lots of trees/shade. Nice views, bathrooms will be a bit rustic for some. But we loved the area and space the campground provides. The worms dropping from the trees were crazy.

First time, will be back!

We had a chilly Memorial Day weekend but were very impressed with the campground. Great mix of activities for the kids. Big park but felt small, no problems with traffic and golf carts like we have experienced at other “resort” style campgrounds. All sites are full hookup and there are just enough…

Great small spot!

Cool small campground next to the pine river. About 20 spots to pull in and camp. Also areas along the hiking trail to camp. Lots of wildlife and good views along the trials. $15 a night. First come first serve.

Careful of the locals. They have tricks to snagging spots and not being there for…

Love this place!

Great, quiet, cozy place to take kids or anyone for that matter. Right on the river and clean, flat lots.

Quiet & small

We chose this campground due to location (family event nearby). The sites are spacious and clean. The campground had 4 other occupied sites (seasonal?). We never saw another person during our visit. The sites have electric only. Water is shared between 3-4 sites, so you better bring a hundred feet…

  • Our site seemed to be the only one with a sledding hill.
  • Very clean shower. Only one stall.

Bad

Would not recommend this camp ground. Very rude employees. Very dirty campsites.

Clean!

They do a great job maintaining and improving site each year. Their bathrooms are very clean daily. Very happy with our stays at this campground.

AN EASY TOP TEN

Holiday Park will easily make your top ten list.

It has everything; off of Silver Lake to swim, fish or rent a boat. Their is no reason to leave this paradise (except for groceries/drinks). The grounds are meticulously manicured with a great playground, biking/walk paths and as mentioned in…

Incredibly beautiful and secluded

We stumbled on this campground accidentally but I am sure happy that we did! What a beautiful place. We were there in the late fall, so I imagine it most likely gets busy in the summer seeing as half the sights have lake access. Although, for a beautiful fall weekend there was wasn’t more than 3…

Nice State park, Be Careful of Swimmer's Itch

There are lots of advantages to this campground -most sites have big trees and some are along a forest.  It's across the street from the Interlochen Music School, so you can often hear music or concerts on summer weekends.  There are a couple trails to walk (not really strenuous enough to call them…

One of our favorites

Without a doubt this is one of our favorite campgrounds.  It's a bit older, so the campsites are quite large compared to modern campgrounds.  There are huge trees throughout, easily navigable roads, etc.  There are two sections to the park, one a bit smaller with a gorgeous new bathroom.  The other…

Off the beaten path

Great sites close to river. Busy at peak times... would be a great spot to consider for an overnight canoe camp trip.
