Good place to stay for a few days

We stayed here in our van and it was just what we needed. I wish we had a place to dump our grey water, but otherwise it was an easy drive in and had fresh water.

Great place!!

We stayed for a 3 night stay recently with our 1 and 5 year old and we had such a nice weekend. This campground is very clean all the site are spacious. They have quite a few full timers, everyone seems to really love this place. We went for nightly walks it was also pleasantly quiet at night.…

Very nice camping

We enjoyed our time here, sites are bigger with lots of trees/shade. Nice views, bathrooms will be a bit rustic for some. But we loved the area and space the campground provides. The worms dropping from the trees were crazy.

Adventure abound

The campground and facilities are a little run down. Lake was very weedy, they haven't had rain in quite a while so lake was not in great shape. Staff could be more friendly. The gypsy moth caterpillars were everywhere.

Lots of space, quiet, trails and lake access

First come first serve in the fall- we were basically the only ones there. Big spacious sites, lake access and good hikes from the campground. Gorgeous and quiet. Would go back!

First time, will be back!

We had a chilly Memorial Day weekend but were very impressed with the campground. Great mix of activities for the kids. Big park but felt small, no problems with traffic and golf carts like we have experienced at other “resort” style campgrounds. All sites are full hookup and there are just enough…

Great small spot!

Cool small campground next to the pine river. About 20 spots to pull in and camp. Also areas along the hiking trail to camp. Lots of wildlife and good views along the trials. $15 a night. First come first serve.

Careful of the locals. They have tricks to snagging spots and not being there for…

Clean, friendly, accommodating!!!

Half of our party got to the office hours early and was able to check in and start setting up the site! The owners got up later and helped me in the store because I forgot some water, they were super accommodating! The bathrooms were clean, sites well maintained and gorgeous right on the River!!

Great rustic campground

Great, rustic sites that back up to the north country trail. Very spacious and more than 50 yards in between some of them.

Great free camping

Spacious large sites. Vaulted toilet. Good fishing. Free boat launch. What else can you ask for plus it's all free. I love waking up to the sounds of the birds.
