Very nice and Friendly Campground

We arrived on Sunday, when most people leave. The campground was a little confusing at first because the sign says next left, when the next left is the out driveway. The camp office/store was very clean and had practical items like batteries, firestarter, snacks and ice cream for the kiddos. There…

Kentucky horse Park review September 23, 2021

Park is extremely nice has lots of amenities! Wi-Fi is kind of spotty and no sewage hook up on site. Other than that would definitely stay here again very nice clean park.

Nice place but with some downsides

We travel in a triple axl so apply that to the review. Roads getting in are super winding but go slow and enjoy the stunning views! The site we got upon arrival had electric and water, but upon pull in we noticed all the hookups are shared between 2 sites and not very close. 37 ft away to be exact.…

Beautiful Setting

We arrived on Friday afternoon a little before check in time and were allowed to check in and go to our site. We stayed on campsite 61 which is just long enough for a 23ft camper and our truck to park next to the camper. The drop down from the pad was a little steep with no stairs. The campground…

VERY much recommend

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in a very large tent back in primitive camping area ... The campground we found to be very well maintained with a very kind and attentive staff who checked on us regularly. The sites were large enough for our liking with each having a picnic table and firepit but…

Good location, ok campground

Negatives: This campground is pretty hilly. Many of the spots don't have a great space for a tent. The flattest spots are in the middle of the circle with an open field behind them (but then you won't have any privacy or tree coverage). Even the RV camping on the inside of the loop across from us…

WORST PLACE EVER

This place is a tiny little dump that is not at all maintained by management. Dead trees all over the property, grass not cut or cared for properly, management rude and unfriendly, and bath house is a nightmare!! No wifi for guests like they claim as it doesn't work and didn't work our entire stay!…

Climbing trips

I always choose lago Linda’s for my climbing trips, they provide everything you need with dispersed enough areas that you can feel alone in the woods some nights but close enough to civilization for your basic needs. I also love the option of fishing on site during rest days

Great biking

The horse park has good sites. The inner loops keep you close to the pool, basketball,…. The outer loops have nice backyards. Nice bike riding. You can take a trail all the way to Lexington. They won’t allow you to go the the horse stables while COVID is still around, but there are still plenty…

My favorite campground in Kentucky

Bathroom facilities leave a little to be desired (out of order equipment, bad lighting) but all that can be forgiven in favor of the setting. All sites here are private and wooded--you won't hear much from the folks beside you as they're going to be 50-100 yards away through decently thick woods.…

Nice Park!

Nice park not too far from the marina and boat ramp for Clifty Creek Grotto. Campground rules not enforced at all, so folks put their campers wherever, not necessarily on the pads. No worries about having a wheel in the grass! Bring all the leveling blocks you own because very few sites are level…

Cozy campground with great stream

We loved our weekend stay at Middle Fork campground.  We were at B012 which backed right up to the creek.  We had adequate room between the sites and enjoyed the view of the tree lined creek behind us.   For those with kids (or for adults!) who love creekin', b27, b28, b29 would have easier access…

It's hot!

We're at a primitive site. The hiking trail is right behind our site, which turns out to be in the best shaded sweet stop to keep cool.
