We love beech fork!

Moxley is our favorite place to camp at beech fork. If you have kids it’s a great place for them also! Very clean bath houses and great people.

Good vibe

This campground had a good, laid-back vibe.  I had a site where I was able to put up a hammock.  Many sites are along a pretty running stream.  It was just a nice campground - I think it would be beautiful in the fall, it's a pretty winding road to get to the park.

Well Maintained Sites

Paved, well maintained sites but a bit close together. Don’t expect privacy if it’s booked. Reservations close 4 days prior, after that it’s first come, first serve. However, surprisingly very quiet during my visit. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and water & electric…

It's okay

First, the good... Nice spacing between the spots. Just if the highway but no road noise. The employees were helpful. My grandkids lived the mini golf.

The bad...no shade trees. That's the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars.

It's very scenic

The good... peaceful, nice lake with some spots next to the lake.

The bad... not much of a camp store, the wifi is horrible, no Verizon service.

Decent campground

Was nice and quiet. Wanted to get away for a couple days and our favorite place to go was booked so this was the next closest spot. We stayed on the upper end by the veterans cemetery, even though it's close to the pool and playground, it was pretty quiet. Sites were a bit unlevel, but easy to back…

Our favorite getaway

We love this place! Close to home, easy to get away for the weekend. Very friendly campground, everyone you meet is nice, and very helpful if you need it. Very kid friendly, beautiful views, and Halloween there is GREAT!

**As of 9/10/2021 the Wi-Fi has been fixed. It's not the best but way better…

Poor customer service

I called KOA Ashland on July 3rd and spoke with an employee about cancelling my reservation I had on Aug 7th. She informed me that I would forfeit $10 as a cancellation fee. I informed her that I’m a VIP member and per KOA cancellation policy the cancellation fee is waived. She stated that per the…

Beautiful spot on the Licking River

I love this place for many reasons.  The proximity to the river and kayaking is a big priority for me.  They have kayaks for rent at the campground or you can bring your own.  They shuttle you up to the dam and it takes a couple of hours to get back down to their campground.  Justin pulls your…

secluded sites, shade, trees, clean and level sites

We camped here in June when the temps were in the 90's and the shade that the trees in this campground offer were a life saver.  The campground is always clean and the sites are level with gravel.  They have picnic tables and fire pits at each site and water is usually close.  Check maps because…

If you want to tent camp this isn’t the place

This campground really is made for everyone camping. The sites are a good size but you can’t hVe more than one tent unless you get permission. If you have more than 2 adults you have to buy two sites because only one household per site and only one tent or RV per site. That said you can have an RV,…

Good place

We enjoyed our stay here. Just an fyi to others- it rained quite a bit and many of the sites got flooded. The ground here doesn't drain well.

Some good trails here. The lake wasn't so great for swimming, too many geese. The campground has been recently renovated with newly paved roads &…

Very peaceful

Quiet spot next to an industrial area. Nice view of man-made lake with a number of fishing huts for catch-and-release fishing. Pets allowed leashed, with no tie-outs permitted. Helpful owner who escorted us to our campsite with full service hookups but no picnic table or fire ring (some sites had…

Great place for little kids

Loved the fenced in soft play area for the toddlers. Great field for flying kites. Camp store had lots of food options and coffee. Pool was small but big enough to enjoy. There was a huge sink hole on one of the roads which was not safe to travel over with our 28’ camper and no notice was given…
