We stayed at Duck Creek while visiting family in the area. It sits along a very busy road. There are a lot of sketchy, long-term residents here. We were placed on an end site crammed up next to a long-term resident. The last night of our stay there was a rainstorm and we woke up to ankle-deep water…
Stayed here in March 2020. My favorite part about this campground was that there were only 8 campsites so it was very quiet and remote. I arrived at 7pm on Friday and snagged the last site. The fire pit had a grate large enough to cook on and I didn’t need to use my extra grate that I keep in my…
It's a really great place to get away from everything, literally. It's a field with a small pond. And where is the boat ramp??
This place has been on our bucket list for a few years. We didn't get to camp there, but hiked a couple of the trails. It's definitely worth the visit!
The Garden of the Gods Observation Trail was a short, easy hike with some amazing scenic views.
The wilderness has several other hikes, but we…

This place is very clean and quiet! The sites are very nice with privacy. It’s close to a lot of local hiking, Bell Smith, Millstone Bluff, and several others. Also the trail around the lake is awesome! If your lucky enough to have a waterfront site you can paddle out in the lake. Only downside is…
Was fortunate to get a short notice reservation for an overnight at this KOA. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the pool was a hit with the kids, and there's quick food options just down the road. The campground itself is somewhat hilly with plenty of tree cover, but the lots are gravel and…
Absolutely loved it here. Went camping last 4 days with 2 adults and 7kids we all had a great time. Only thing that could make it better was showers

Loved it. Visit all the time. Plenty of hiking, trails. Places with amazing views
Awesome spot. We were trying to hit garden of the gods. Drove through that campsite and it was packed on a Friday afternoon. We refilled our 7 gal water jug there in the weirdest spin crank pump ive encountered yet. It tasted a bit bleachy, but it's there. Checked out the local camp country tourist…
Super easy to walk in. Ten dollar fee to camp. The place was empty on the Thursday afternoon we came in. Saw lots of deer right on Kentucky Lake, as well as a family of trash pandas. The sites were very dirty when we arrived (baby diapers and wipes scattered everywhere - eww), but we cleaned it up…
Mostly flat near the water and lots of sites to camp. We really enjoyed our spot in the shade on a hot summer weekend.
I stayed Thursday-Sunday. Very peaceful and clean. Very well maintained. Even the pit toliets are nicely stocked with toliet paper. Love the tall trees and that it's down the road from Garden of the Gods trails/ observation trail. Great for tents and Hammocks.

We spent 2 nights here at the end of July, and there were only a few other parties there at that time. About a 15 minute drive to the Garden of the Gods. There was a vault toilet in a central location, very well kept up! Only $10 a night for sites with electric hook up & drinking water!!
