We had a great time. Bring the bug spray, sunscreen and plenty of exention cords. The campground needs investment as majority of the sites are narrow with difficult positions for hooking up and leveling, make sure you pay attention. To each site description. The Full hookup/Ada sites are new, the…

Beautiful spot close to the water. Secluded area that can be reached via GPS coordinates ONLY (we learned this after trying to check in at the Dale Hollow campground).
Things to know:
- there was no dumpster for trash
-hike in spot with vault toilet
- 45 minutes from Standing Stone State Park
Best site for privacy is 49 plus it's pretty big. Sites 40-47 have electric and water. Sites 48-50 do not but all sites are close to the bath house. In my opinion, the privacy of site 49 was worth the lack of electricity and water. Site 50 was pretty close to the parking lot - I would not…

We stayed at site B3 backwoods camp. Price was good. Site was the biggest they have. Downside big gravel rock road down a hill and up to get to the sites. They do have carts available at the front to help get your stuff to the site. Showers are clean as well as restrooms
We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2021. We got a pull thru spot near the play area. It was a nice spot. This place was nice, clean, and quiet. I just wish the staff gave us more information when we arrived. We got a map and were told to enjoy our stay, no park info or nearby info. We were from out…
Had a wonderful weekend at Kendall. Have heard it can be hard to get a reservation, and now I know why.
Most the spots are spacious and tree covered. Paved and gravel sights are the norm. Some sites looked to be 100 feet deep which offered great privacy. There are many buddy sites that would…
We camped here over the weekend. The campground is not very big, but the sites have electricity, water, a fire pit, a lantern pole, picnic bench, and a bearbox. Some of the sites are not very private or have much shade. Number 1 to 9 seem to be the best spots. Some of the campsites have also…

Loved it! I've been to a couple of CoE campgrounds before but this is now my favorite one. I had Site 31 right beside the Woodland Trail entrance but you're pretty close to the lake (the boat ramp is about a 1/2 mile as the crow flies) and you're close to town (about 3 1/2 miles roughly) if you…
Campers paradise, with a FREE campground. Campsites are spacious depending on which one you get, and we'll spread out. Be wary of shy bears and bobcats.
Campground is closed, but the boat launch is open. Might be able to park in boat launch parking. Clean pit toilets.
Super clean facilities with multiple activities like boat rentals, hiking, ping pong, tennis in a scenic state park. Friendly staff!

This was a one night stop on our way to Ohio. The property is nice and the sites are spacious. Didn't really like the placement of the fire ring. Had we used it, we would have been listening to our neighbor's music most of the night. We had a W/E site. Our Verizon cell signal was terrible and the…
Spent a partly rainy weekend at this park. They have so many things to do but we just enjoyed watching our son play and enjoy the playground and sandbox by the dam with another child. It was a peaceful campground probably because of the rain but it but it was quiet and nice. The sites are…

This was a hidden gem and there was nothing I could be critical of in this place. Clean, spacious sites, great facilities, clean bathrooms, close to world class hiking and remote natural beauty!
My site was covered in dried mud, cigarette butts all over. They don't seem to clean the sites much. Showers/restrooms need better cleaning. They allow local traffic to cut thru park, I can't imagine why, and it's fairly non-stop all day. Never seen a park do that. Speed limits (5MPH) rarely…
