Nice campground a ton of mosquitos

Stayed at the T loop campground. Arrived late at night around 10 pm. We reserved a spot without hookups, big mistake, too hot to sleep and somehow mosquitos made their way inside. Next morning I called to switch spots and the kiosk switched us no problem. Very helpful and friendly staff. Both spots…

Great Value

The staff wears great! Very helpful and quick to fix any issue. Our electric did not work at our site so we moved. They had someone out the next morning to fix it. Very well lit at night with security. The RV park is located in the back of the county park, so there is plenty to do: water park,…

Very old style

Only one person, menager and hard to find when you need it! Parking on the grass. It is not safe. Located in a close distance from State Prison. No security.

Really “0” Stars

This is not a camp sight. This is the place nightmares are created. We felt unsafe all night. Please do not stay here! Cats running everywhere, People driving by the campers taking pictures of them, not maintained at all.

Four Windy Days in the Glades!

Originally I was over in the Trailer loop but was able to relocate to the tent camping loop.

Site #53 was a winner with a nice big tree for plenty of afternoon shade.

Nice bathroom with solar heated showers centrally located in the loop.

Also within walking distance of a beach area and the…

Just Beautiful

Went four times between January an February and it was always beautiful. People have the misconception that the Everglades is just a huge swamp. It is not. Flamingo campground has a few trails around the trail that allow anyone to be absorbed by the depth of nature. The walk in cite has a beautiful…

Nothing to write home about

We were able to get a site with electricity. Not all of them do. The campground doesn’t have hot water in their bathrooms. Visiting the park was a neat experience. We saw manatee, osprey and a crocodile. Ultimately we shortened our trip and only stayed one night instead of two. It is really far…

Yacht Haven Marina is an excellent place to camp!

This park and the people who run it are awesome! If you camp on the canal, chances are you will be right next to some amazing yachts! 7 minutes to Ft Lauderdale Beach and 7 minutes the other way to Seminole Hard Rock Casino Hollywood! We will be going back!

Very Friendly Park Staff

This is an older campground with a lot of full-time RVers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will do whatever they can to make you satisfied. This is a campground in the middle of the city, so don’t expect a lot of quiet, as this is how it is in a city. We spent 14 months here…

Great fishing at this remote spot

Spent three days fishing and using the camper as a base camp. Caught tons of mangrove snapper, snook, and even a tripletail. Been going to Flamingo for years to fish but this was the first time taking the trailer. Would definitely do it again. 50 amp hookup worked great. Just wish they had running…

Eco tent glamping with off season rates!

Flamingo is right inside the national park and is the only center with services available in the park; marina, food and convenience store, rental equipment, boat tours with park naturalist, food truck, and a pricy gas pump for emergencies.

Once you’re all the way down to Flamingo, you’re 50 miles…

Great place

We came from Maryland, excellent campground. Docking at your site for waterfront spots is an awesome perk. Two small beachy areas, though wouldn't suggest swimming there. Great pool, mix of residents and campers. Boat ramp, volleyball, friendly people. Next door is John Pennekamp Coral Reef state…

Flamingo at Everglades 2021

We stayed at this campground the week before spring break and during the week it was nIce and quiet. There was no hot water so showers were very quick. We took our bikes and had some nice rides. We rented a kayak for a few hours and kayaked down the canal but stopped at coots bay as it was very…

Better than we expected!

After some of the reviews we read here, we had some trepidation. Much of the ‘cons’ that other people experienced, we did not. We stayed in T loop since we wanted electrical hookup. This loop is designed for RVs and travel trailers, electric hookups at each site, but you needed to fill your water…
