Welcome, Under the Hoof is a 28 acre farm. After 2 years of wandering in both our B and A class RVs plus a year in Mexico, we decided to settle in for a while. When we traveled we stayed at [HarvestHost.com](<http://harvesthost.com/>) locations all over the country and we are now excited about having the opportunity to be hosts.

Today, we have goats, chickens, dogs, and gopher tortoises. We are a Stewardship Forest, a Certified Tree Farm, and a designated gopher tortoise habitat We have a new shop, a bunkhouse & bath, our animals, and a good start on clearing the 25 acres of overgrown timberland to be used in the future as silvopasture.

Our shop is an active woodworking shop complete with a finishing room. We make small gift items (sold in art studios) and custom furniture. Our goats are all does, we will breed them in the fall (2022 - done) so the kidding season will begin in April/May 2023. Our chickens (14) just eat, make noise and lay eggs.

On any given day we have lots going on. Morning chores, forest clearing (campsite prep), work going on in the shop. Merle teaches water aerobics most mornings and can always bring a guest. We spent time with the animals every day so most are very friendly and evening chores give you a great time to visit with them.

We are a working farm and Stewardship Forest. Chores happen every day. Goats are let out of the barn at 7:00 am (goat noise possible). Chickens are also up early (chicken sound likely) Aminals will be animals so during breeding (Nov./Dec) and kidding season (April/May) you may see nature being nature.

Guests can purchase work from our shop, eggs from the girls, and other various amenities (shower, electricity, water. NO WASTE DUMP.

Speed Limit:
For the safety of everyone, our speed limit is five (5) mph. This rule is strictly enforced.

Vehicles
1 RV and 2 Vehicles per site. All RVs must be self-contained. Tent trailers, tent camping, pop-up campers, converted horse trailers, boats and trailers are not allowed.

We do not permit the repairs of vehicles and RVs in the park. 

No battery operated vehicles nor motor driven cycles, bikes, scooters, ATVs, dirt bikes or golf carts may be driven in park.

Generators are not allowed to be turned on while at the resort.

Clotheslines
Clotheslines are not permitted.

Subletting
NO subletting of the premises or assignment may be made by occupant.

Children
You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of the children with you.
For safety reasons, aged 15 and under must be supervised by an adult in all resort areas.

Drain Water
State  Law prohibits ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black).  Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of in sewer drainage.

Sewer Connection etc.
We require a tight seal by sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw type connector. We will not replace any items left on the ground that may be damaged by our maintenance or landscaping team.

All nightly and weekly reservations require a one night non-refundable deposit. Monthly reservations require a $250.00 non-refundable deposit.

Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center (AUOC) began with two canoes on top of a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass, then expanded to 30 canoes and a 1972 GMC three-quarter ton pickup (affectionately referred to as “Old Blue”). The Blackwater River State Park was the main point of debarkation and phones were answered from the Sanborn family residence in Bagdad, Florida. In 1978, the original Tomahawk Landing was purchased on the Santa Rosa County courthouse steps. It started out as one building and over the years developed into a complete lodging and water recreation resort. By 1982, Adventures Unlimited began adding lodging to further expand its services. Currently there are three rustic camping cabins, the School House Inn (with 8 separate rooms), 18 furnished cottages/cabins (which includes our unique tree house, the Lorax Loft, added in 2013 and Katie’s Kaboose, added in 2016). Two rustic camping cabins and six cottages are designated as “pet friendly.” In the summer of 1994, the Adventures Unlimited Low and High Challenge Courses were completed. Since then, Adventures Unlimited has been the site for retreats of all kinds – schools, military, churches, non-profits, sports teams, corporations, scouts and many others – utilizing the challenges presented by these courses, lead AUOC to become one of the premiere courses in the Southeastern United States. In 2010, we proudly unveiled the Zip Adventures Canopy Tour, where adventure seekers can soar through the glorious tree tops of Northwest Florida and over Coldwater Creek on nearly a mile of zip lines, some as high as 65′ in the air. These programs and activities complement our fleet of 250 canoes, 100 kayaks, 500 tubes and 10 stand-up paddle boards for aquatic enjoyment. Adventures Unlimited also has nearly 100 acres on its Wilderness Resort location campgrounds for groups and individuals, a catering facility, group retreat cabins (which holds up to 70 people), private cabins, a playground, a nature trail, sports fields and a volleyball court. Adventures Unlimited continues to expand to meet the needs of all of our guests – families, honeymooners, friends and many more! If there is anything Adventures Unlimited can do to meet your specific requests, please let us know! Your input is essential to the growth and development of Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center, and has helped to make our resort what it is today.

Krul Campground is located within the Krul Recreation Area, in the Blackwater River State Forest (Santa Rosa County), about 1-hour northeast of Pensacola, FL. This campground is located on a 6.5-acre lake and has the following facilities: campsites with electricity and water (potable) for recreational vehicles or tents, dump station, restrooms and showers, swimming dock and pier. Recreational activities featured here are: swimming, picnicking, hiking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, nature study and photography. Don't miss the Sweetwater Hiking Trail that starts at the Krul parking lot and runs 1.3 miles to Bear Lake. The first half mile of trail is a handicapped accessible boardwalk with a suspension bridge over Sweetwater Creek. A gristmill is located along the boardwalk.

Camping doesn't mean you have to go without, and you don't even have to lug around (or buy!) camping gear. Campers relax under many trees, nestled in the rear of the property, that is adjacent to an undeveloped, five-acre lot, that is home to several owls you'll hear at night, and all campers are able to enjoy coffees, teas, and hot chocolate-- all of this and you are conveniently-located to everything in Pensacola, with easy, quick (just 300 feet) access to a major intersection (Mobile Hwy/Saufley Field Rd/W. Michigan Ave). You can sit by the fire pit, cook food, play one of the many games provided (croquet, bean bag toss, mini golf), or just relax, enjoying your camping experience here, which is paramount to me, as I developed the outdoor areas specifically for campers in mind.
