Quaint spot with outstanding lake views

Stumbled upon this campsite through the app and after reading the reviews figured I better check it out. You will not be disappointed! It’s tucked away surrounding by lake. Extremely quiet! Woke up early to see the sunrise and it was the icing on the cake :) even witnessed a gator swimming! The…

Biggest Gator I've Seen Yet!

Was able to reserve this spot day of as I was heading into Tallahassee.

Reminded me of campsites in my western mountains and was nice to camp on a soft bed of leaves and pine needles.

Caught a beautiful sunset over the lake and saw a massive gator hanging out by the fishing pier.

The gator…

Great view

It was everything their web site says. Easy in and out. Water pressure was a little low. The wifi was useable but if you go for the paid upgrade ($1.50 a day) be aware it is apparently for only one device. That not stated upfront.

Nice park

I only got to spend a night here but my family enjoyed it. Nice little beach and great peer for fishing. Friendly campers in that area. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

On the Gulf, No distractions

It's the views that bring you to the Ho Hum RV Park. I had a waterfront site and thoroughly enjoyed letting the dogs run on the beach. At the end of the fishing pier you can see the crabs clinging to the support poles.

Great Gulf views.

Great location & beautiful campground!

We booked a night last minute while driving through the state. The campground was quaint & VERY well maintained grounds. The sites were nice & not washed out. Bathrooms were large & have covid guidelines in place. We stayed in waterfront site #7. The only reason I would drop a star…

Get Away from it All!

Womack Creek Primitive Sites- Some have electricity hook ups, and some do not. Only one site on the whole property has water. If you want to get away from it all, this site is for you! Just note that "non-potable water" means that there isn't any, not that you cannot drink it. There is one road in,…

Beautiful property, will stay again.

Nearly every spot is lake view. The keepers and residents are all very polite. They have a well kept womens restroom and shower. And hook ups at every station.

The price and luxuries you have for the price is amazing. Thank you!

Great Stay

Great views, tight spaces, super clean, not recommended for kids for long stays.

Such a cozy spot!

We really enjoyed our short stay! The campground was affordable, esp when you consider the lovely water views. Each spot is designated clearly, is level, and has its own lake vista. It’s a small place but perfect for a night or two for a peaceful retreat. They have both pull through and back in…

Remote site with great fishing

Did some car camping here in March and it was already hot and full of mosquitos. The sites are huge and far from each other. Big dock with heavy day (and evening and early morning) use from serious fisherman.

Only 1 other site was occupied.

Beautiful secluded rustic spot

We stayed at Tate’s Hell for a night after spending time at the Saint George Island beach.

We got lost driving in! When going to the dwarf cypress boardwalk, google maps routed us through a swamp! It was helpful to grab a map. Roads can be bumpy so take it slow!

We stayed at pidcock 49 and it was…

Quiet No Frills Camping with Lake Views

Visited new years eve weekend and the campground was relatively quiet. The vault toilet was well stocked with toilet paper and kept clean, but there was some trash around the campground. The dock on the lake is nice and there were several people fishing. Good location for hunting the surrounding…

Womack Creek - one of many within Tate’s Hell Forest

$33 for one night, $22 plus reservation fees & taxes. Hard to find on gps, use directions from your reservation confirmation email. Moving on. Lovely site, this has electricity but fairly rustic apart from that. Would return.
