Not the best

There are no bathrooms, showers, and sewer hookups. If you want to stay there for one or two days I think it’s ok… But little pricey for no amenities.

Poor sites

The campsite that I had was very uneven. It was practically a down hill slope. I had a hard time getting my camper level. This campground does not have any amenities. No bathrooms, no showers, no hookups. The camp hosts are nice enough. They also lock their dump station so when you want to check…

In the middle of Denver - Dark at night - decent park for camping

I stayed here with a boy scout troop.  The park itself is nice and well organized.  Campsites are spaced out and all amenities are available depending on what type of site you stay at - RV or Tent.  The only drawback for me is that it's in the middle of town and it feels like that to me.  If you…

Pretty nice Denver stay!

Beautiful grounds, awesome swim beach, and the restroom/showers are in a nice clean building. It’s pretty urban though, so even though you can’t see the road, you can still hear cats.

Great place to stay

Great campground. Clean. Pine trees give great shade all day. Hook ups and dump station. Just outside Elizabeth and an easy drive to Colorado Springs area and the Parker/Denver areas.

Great campground.

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the campground and the park. Huge sites and well maintained. Facilities were clean. Staff were all very nice. Be careful in downtown Denver, my truck/tow vehicle was stolen in broad daylight while we ate at a restaurant. The campground rangers and hosts was…

Very basic

This RV park is literally a pebble and grass clump facility. There are 7 pull through sites with new electric, water and sewer connections close together. There is a clean bathhouse with shower. Owner is nice and helpful. The campground is a new enterprise in a very small, run down town. Folks are…

It was good but to noise

The camp ground is close to interstate 70 and cars were driving past every second non stop and super loud. Everything then that the camp is fine

Glamping.

This park and it's campground are very close to the city, but you'd barely know it. The perfect sort of camping for anyone who still wants amenities, lol.  Easy to get to, but still very natural surroundings, wildlife etc... The camp sites have a fair amount of space. Level paved spaces with full…

We love Cherry Creek

I have been going to CCSP my entire life being a native. For us it’s a good place for a beginning summer shake down. Expect very long lines to get in on the weekends. Very heavy boat traffic. You will want to get in the boat ramp line by 6:00 am. The camp sites are very well maintained, showers,…

Meh

Still no campfires allowed.... just a ball field, playground for younger kids and a rodeo ring in the back. I guess there’s a splash pad near the office which isn’t even on the camping property (BFE). Which you only learn about if someone camping tells you about it. No showers. No actual campground…

Perfect overnight quick stop

The campground itself is a basic no frills rv park. But is perfect for a short stay for traveling from point A to point B. Full hook up reasonable rate and just off I-70. The host Hayden was worth the stop alone. Super friendly and accommodating. You have to go to the little cafe for the Bison…

Plain Jane

The views, the amenities, are nothing to write home about but the price for full hookups and ease of entering and departing are. Not to mention the the great host, Hayden. Ask him about the little cafe down the street with a full bar and great smoked bison burgers! We even met some of the locals…

Full hookups with space

I usually hate full hookup sites because they pack everyone in so tightly. Not here! The full hookup sites are very spacious and surrounded by grass (or weeds - at least green) and trees.

The park itself is huge and has miles of bike trails that then connect to trail systems outside of the park.

Pleasant location

Small, quiet, and well treed. Close to town, some restaurants, grocery, and fuel. A bit pricey for not having sewer. Has a dump station.
