Nice access to the lake. Campground hosts are very helpful, gate is locked at night so keep the email with the code if you want in late or out early. We got caught in a pop-up shower with the rain fly off lol but then again, that’s camping.
This is our second year at Shallow Creek. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The grounds, laundry and shower rooms are clean and well kept. Level parking sites with full hook ups, easy access, picnic tables and park-like lighting are the things we appreciate at this RV resort.
Great spot! Clean bath houses, great lake for fishing and yaking. We enjoyed the trails and extra activities for the kids!
We stayed one night at Martin Creek Park in our travel trailer on our way to the next destination. Site 40 was wooded and very spacious. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring and ours had water and electric. There was a dump station available. The other reviewers mention the ants, but we…

Pretty cool play ground, trails to explore, covered picnic tables in the swim area, nice fishing piers. A really cool SP.

First 6 days without electricity because of the snow storm, water pressure is low but available. Very pleased with campsite, host Billy very helpful. Overall enjoyed our 2 weeks there.

We stayed at the primitive campgrounds on the island and it was just perfect. The entire park was booked up for Friday night, and we got the very last site. I really lucked out with this spot I was so happy to be on the island. There was this factory next door but it added a weird sort of…

Hard to beat for $13/night (annual pass rate), hiking trails are decent, bathrooms are some of the cleanest in Texas and the staff were some of the best!

This park seems to be a good fit for boaters and Fishermans , not the best hiking trails but there still there, little hike on the island ,is OK, and the other trails I went on did not look like they’ve been used a lot, but again the parks are just re-opening. The RV is well shaded the toilets and…

We love this park. Spacious. Quiet.
