If you’d like to ditch some of the crowds around Mt. Hood while also getting a hike in, make your way through a canopy of old-growth forest on the Old Salmon River Trail. The backwoods sites along the trail offer a natural escape to some of the best camping in Oregon.


If you’re looking for a more active natural beauty, venture about three hours south from Mt. Hood to Silver Falls State Park outside of Salem. You may have found your perfect getaway! Dew Valley Ranch Nature Retreat is a Private Members Association and offers a unique Oregon farm/forest stay camping experience as well as "glamping" options. Every campsite is large and PRIVATE and scattered throughout our forest. We offer a quiet restful retreat, we are not a party campground. Our camp sites vary in size and accommodation (see below). We allow children 12 years or older only with ZERO PETS (we have our own that wander the ranch). We have eggs, fresh garden veggies and herbs and firewood for sale in our check in shed. We also have hammocks to use and crab rings for rent. Check in times are from 4pm-8pm only no late check-ins.

We are close to Face Rock Beach, Bullards Beach State Park, Whiskey Run Mountain Bike Trails, Floras Lake, Blacklock. Cape Blanco and Sunset Bay/Cape Arago are about 35 min dive for day trips.

The Bandon Dunes Golf course is 20min from ranch or you could try our stunning Bandon Crossings Golf course just down the street.

Dew Valley Ranch Nature Retreat

Located just one mile from the Oregon seashore, Black Moon Farms is a certified organic farm that produces cranberries, blueberries and chestnuts. The campsite is situated in a quiet corner of the farm, overlooking one of our three cranberry bogs. It is out of view of the main house in a fenced area, giving you a cozy, secluded experience surrounded by mature trees, roaming sheep and a cool ocean breeze. Fresh towels, linens and firewood are provided, free of charge. 

Spend time hiking our 75-acre property, touring the farm via tractor and ATV, gathering around the fire ring or venture into the quaint, coastal town of Bandon. Explore the Coquille River Lighthouse at Bullard's Beach State Park, with 4.5 miles of sandy beaches to stroll down, or marvel at the sunrises and sunsets at Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint. The beauty of the Oregon coast is unparalleled, and Black Moon Farm is your perfect base camp to relax and recharge in tranquil privacy.

We___re also home to 30 sheep, wild lobster mushrooms and 12 ponds scattered around the property for irrigation and stock water. A five-acre grove of chestnuts is at the front of the property, along with numerous pine trees, redwoods, eucalyptus and a variety of shrubs.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided (you___re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Lanterns and lighting 
-Firewood for the campfire
-Water

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Occupancy: Max occupancy refers to the total number of campers allowed at the site during your reservation. We welcome campers with larger parties, but you may need to bring extra camping gear of your own in addition to the tent that is already provided. Please plan accordingly.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Self-Check In: to limit the impact of community spread, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self-check in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand. If you need any assistance, you can reach out to your host through the contact information provided in your confirmation email.

Please do: Ask for a guided tour of the property, take photos, tell us if you___d like to help out with daily chores, check out the nearby beach and ocean access. Please Don___t: Feed the sheep, swim in the ponds, leave gates open.

Tentrr Signature Site - Cranberry Overlook at Black Moon Farms.

Our property is 5 riverfront acres on the bend of the Coquille river. Located directly across from the small town of Coquille Oregon. 15 miles up river from the ocean. Great for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding or just sit back and watch the river flow by while you relax and enjoy the wildlife. Ocean beaches, Old town Bandon and Coos Bay are only a short drive away. Located 1 hour off I-5 and 20 minutes off Hwy 101 and 5 minutes off Hwy 42. This is a large private site with river access. Great for those looking to get away from the crowded campgrounds. (You will be the only campers) Laundry mat, restaurants. Coffee shops, grocery stores and gas station less than 5 miles away.



Foleys River Camp

Enjoy a clean, secure, and quiet RV park with a warm glow of café lights in the trees.The Bandon Wayside is a micro-park providing eight full hook-up spaces with 30AMP electric, water and sewer connections, free Wi-Fi for streaming, sans cable. Due to our beautiful trees we cannot guarantee your satellite will work. We don’t want to disappoint you so If camping is all about your satellite TV, we recommend another park.

The RV park was designed between tall Cypress, Douglas Fir, and Spruce trees and is shaped like a horseshoe that wraps around behind the motel. The parking pad and adjacent area is compacted rock. Spaces 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 have small grass/woodchip yards with picnic tables. Space 1 and 8 do not have yards, but do have tables. All spaces are back in and for larger travel trailers and 5th wheels parking for your tow rig gets a little tight. Guests have access to private RV bathrooms with showers and coin-operated laundry facilities. We are located within Bandon City limits and camp fires are not permitted. If you have your own propane fire ring, these are permitted with approval of management. The motel and RV park are smoke and vape free, we do provide designated and separate open-air seating areas for those who enjoy cannabis and tobacco products. Well behaved pets are welcome to stay in the RV park.

Our location provides a bit of wind break and tends to remain sunny when the fog rolls into town and at the beach. Easy walkability to grocery shopping and supplies, is a 15-minute walk into Old Town and a short drive to Bandon’s beautiful beaches just a couple miles away in both directions.

## Overview:

Escape the fog and wind and set-up your tent in the sunny meadow next to Edson Creek. Tall alder trees mixed with myrtle, big-leaf maple and Oregon ash flank the open meadows. The campground is located at the confluence of Edson Creek and Sixes River, offering a popular swimming and fishing spot. A boat launch is located across the road from Edson Creek Campground in the day-use area.

## Point of Interest:

Watch Out – Poison oak is common at Edson Creek. Look for the plant’s distinctive, often glossy leaves with three leaflets. Dogs must be on a leash.
