Park at the River

Nice, clean RV park with full hookups and dry camping. Dry camping is next to the river, very pretty. Near hiking trail and tram ride to the top of mt Howard is across the street

Cozy, clean, quiet

My son and I did a quick layover at this campground on our way to a soccer game. I absolutely want to come back. The owners are on site and went way out of their way to make us comfortable. They were very friendly and welcoming and the whole place was just neat as a pin and very cute. Cleanest…

Clean, super-nice, but tight.

Stayed 2 nights in the tent area, early April 2021. Tent sites have power, but they are close. 6 foot leashes for dogs gives you an idea? But our neighbors were all friendly with our 16 foot leashes (always). Lots of Oxbow Reservoir access. Great hosts.

Near outdoor activities

This motel/rv site is a great jumping off point for rafting, hunting and fishing!  It has a pool which is great because it gets really hot in the summer.  The RV parking is in back of the motel so its not very scenic right there, but the surrounding area makes up for it.

Lovely Lake

This park is enchanting - a little oasis in the dry eastern Oregon landscape, huge trees, imposing mountains. It gets packed at the lake shore, but there are lots of places to hang out in the day use area further from the beach that are near-empty. Good facilities. As a plus, the hike at the top of…

Hell's Canyon: Pleasantly Surprised

On Oregon Highway 86 in Hell's Canyon at Oxbow, across from an Idaho Power Station (and managed by Idaho Power), this was a handy place to stay to be close to a boat launch for a rafting trip we had booked.

There are tiny campsites (maybe the smallest I've seen) and lovely large campsites here.…

Peaceful and free to camp

Lovely location in the mountains of Oregon. We drove a few thousand feet up a gravel road to get to this campsite. Easy access for my little sedan. I typed the latitude and longitude (found on the website) into my gps but lost service maybe 15 or 20 minutes before we arrived. Luckily it still was…

Base camp for Snake River recreating

Stopped here before a 5 day rafting trip on the Snake River. There were plenty of shaded RV and tent sites for our crew, and also had trailer parking for our rigs. It’s a beautiful spot right on the river. We spent hours playing lawn games at the picnic tables! While not in the campground, boat…

A lovely place

We scheduled three nights here but after two nights of amazing lightning storms, we skipped the third night. Still, this is a beautiful place, very private, secluded, and shady. The fast-moving creek creates a soothing white noise that we found calming. The campsites are spaced quite far apart,…

Great Night

We stopped here on our way back from Boise to Spokane after picking up our camper in mid-February. A few others pulled in for the night, but still plenty of space. The wind swirled at night, but the rain was nice. There are a couple of spots where you can stay for longer, but mostly good for an…

Beautiful lake!

We arrived in late November, when it was cold, snowy, and practically empty. But the campground and all of its facilities were open, and the camp host was extremely friendly and helpful!

What a great RV park

This place is a gem in the rough. You are surrounded by wildlife, and entertained by the go carts. They even had food trucks Really big rigs could have a problem with the turns. BUT!!!! The most outstanding thing about this RV site is......... THE BATHROOM!!!!! WOW what a beautiful bathhouse!…

Great Fall Retreat

We enjoyed our off season stay!

Easy back in to our fairly level site.

Unfortunately they had water hookups shut off for winter (after we made our reservation, but before we arrived). So we had to venture back out to the design acted water fill campsite our first morning.

Sites were nice, but…

RV Park close to Joseph

This is a nice little RV park that is close to most things in the Joseph area.  There are several RV sites as well as tent sites.  There are also several sites that look like full time RVer's that live in the park.  The sites were a little close together, but they were able to move us after the…
