Clean, wooded, lakeside

Nice & helpful hosts, several sites set aside for first come, first serve. Arrived on mid afternoon Sunday with no reservation and was able to get a lake view site. Short walk (<100yds) to lake with rocky beaches. Lots of swimmers, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing. Well maintained bathrooms,…

Great Gem

I stopped in here to camp while I checked out the surrounding area (Crater Lake, National Forest, Lava beds) It was way better then I first thought. Spots are nice and private. The hosts and owner are top notch. Full hook up. Easy spacious lots with enough vegetation between to provide a…

Nice Place with Lots to Do

This large campground is off highway 62 at Lost Creek Lake. There are water and electric hook ups and non hook up sites available.

$25/dry

$30/water and electric

We stayed here twice, once in a non-hookup site and we used a hook up site during a heatwave so we could have a/c. Nicely…

We drove through and chose not to stay

This portion of the camping area is called Oak Slope, the other being on the lake for RVs for residents displaced by fires.

For Oak Slope:   Imagine a steep tiered parking lot with narrow spaces. The whole campground is on a hill so the higher sites just look down on the lower sites. Most…

Decent campground

This park is located between the Rogue River and the highway. Road noise is a problem.

There were also a lot of fish flies crawling and buzzing around (see previous review!). If you’ve never seen a fish fly Google them they are quite large and like to land on you!

The campground is…

Loud and Poopy

Not far from Ashland and right past the Hyatt Lake Resort are some dispersed spots on BLM land near the lake. The lake level is very low so at this time you could drive quite close to it but it gets really muddy so watch out because it looks grassy and deceivingly dry.

There is road noise but…

Klamath Falls KOA

Great RVPark, offering camping, propane, gasoline at an affordable price, full hook-ups, store, level sites. We were escorted to our site and was asked if it worked for us and if we needed anything else, within a few minutes we also received a text asking us the same, very professional. The…

Campers delight

Sunset campground is absolutely beautiful. The Lake of the woods is an amazing, clean lake. It has a wonderful view of Mt. Mcloughlin. The campground is clean and quiet. The sites come with a fire pit and electrical hookups which is always nice. The bathrooms are well kept and clean.

Surprising attraction this year

This lake is empty now (2021) and it’s a nice surprise to cross the barren lake bottom to see many different terrains. Would be a nice discovery trip for kids finding lake bottom treasures. There are many active bugs here too, for the entomologist in you. It’s a well maintained and healthy forest…

Four-inch Bugs!

So I paid for just one night and as I arrived there was no indication of where the hosts were. I knew my site so I drove to it and sure enough, it had my name and was reserved. I had already paid fees in advance so I figured if anybody needed me they would find me. The table and firepit were a…

Beautiful and tranquil

Whether you come by yourself, spouse, pet or kids, this place has it all! Basketball area, exercise, ping pong, canoe, pontoon, trampoline and more! Word has it, they're making an area for a BATTING CAGE! What RV resort have you ever heard of with that?!

Easy access, spacious and well maintained

We just stayed one night with some fellow rv’ers. They were in spot C11 which has 3 trees PERFECT for 2 hammocks and great shade. We were in B30 which was just ok. Overall it’s a nice park with trails but I felt like we were being nitpicked by the camp hosts about everything. Our wheels on the…

Freeway Noise Drove me Bonkers

We stayed in the F loop for 3 nights midweek in late April and did not have a problem finding a spot. There were plenty of open spaces, and we moved after the first night to the other side of F loop in order to get away from the freeway noise. You can hear the noise from the whole campground, but…
