Peace

The campground Does not have dispersed camping. Rates are $22 - 26 and if you have the correct park pass it will cost $10 per night.

I hate to sing the praises of this COE campground but I believe the word is out. If you are checking out the COE website this can be a bit confusing. The COE Book…

Happy Camping

Beautiful brook side campgrounds right on the Hot Springs national park. Camp sights are first come first serve at noon (find an empty sight, claim/park, and pay at the front) and all drive up standard sights. Good for tenting, hammocks, or RV. All sights have power/water/septic, fire pit, and…

A surprise at every turn

Petit Jean (pronounced “petty Gene”) is an incredible state park in a truly unique setting. Petit Jean Mountain rises straight out of the flat Arkansas Delta and is actually referred to as a “mesa” like those in the American West. The rock formations and unusual geology combined with the cool…

Fantastic location

Great location! It's basically a parking lot with full hookups but it's right on the river with a cool pedestrian bridge. We'd stay here again.

Utilitarian

There are a few spots where I would willingly stay for a month but there are more spots that are good for a night or two. Some sites are very nicely shaded but others little to none. The sites are nicely spaced. Bath house with flush toilets and showers with a laundry. Doors have a key pad entry…

Antique

This is located on an old Army Camp that is used as a training camp. Robinson is mainly used for National Guard training. This campground has not been maintained, just having the weeds mowed would make a difference. Many trailers looked as if they had been there for sometime. No additional toilets…

Great for families

Very good family camping, close playground, and AMAZING hikes for all levels! Downside is campsites are right on top of each other so very little privacy :/

Hike in sites are great!

Reservable sites are nearly on top of each other. Might be good if you have kids with you. There is a playground adjacent and a pool/bathhouse close by. We opted for the hike in site and it was perfect for us. Off-road and hiking were great! Views are breathtaking!!

Great escape from technology

We found this campground and have been coming back as often as we can. There is no cell service in the campground but if you go up to the dam, we had anywhere from 3 to 5 bars of service. The campground is older but we loved it. The Nimrod Dam is worth a trip since you can walk on it and give it a…

Great View of Dardanelle Rock and Arkansas River

Looks very nice- but we only stayed one night

This is a very nice campground. We got in late and only stayed one night, but there is a lot to do at the park, and the campground was well maintained. We had a pull through site, the only one they have. It was paved and leveled snd easy to access and also easy to leave. It is a 50-amp site, so you…
