Overall Great Experience

The issues we did have with this campsite, arriving after hours and someone taking our original spot is not the fault of the park. And other than those 2 things, our stay was great. Easy to get in, easy to sleep, and easy to get out! Great stopping point.

Family Oriented Camping

My kids are already asking when we are coming back. The owners and staff are super friendly. The water park kept my kids happy the entire weekend. Only drawback was not open past 5 pm but I understand why (they do private parties). Plenty activities for kids. They set up a movie night on the…

Quiet Lake Park

We stayed on a spot right by the lake. The water was beautiful and it was very quiet. We loved everything about this spot. I would highly recommend this park. We came to Waco go to to see the Silos. It is about 25 minutes away.

Private, quiet, and gorgeous place to stay

We ended up changing our trip last minute and ended up in Ceder Hill. It was the closest place to Dallas and most attractive. Once we saw the spot, we fell in love with it. This is what RV life is supposed to be everywhere. And it only costs $25 a night, plus $5 per person.

Lake View, Toilets, Water, Free

Peaceful Army Corps of Engineer park with 12 sites, half are shaded. Clean vault toilets, dumpsters, and water between most sites, covered picnic tables and fire pits, a few have stand up grills. Some locals take the sites for day use fishing so those might open up towards evening. Entry gate…

Just outside Waco, and close to food and services

We called the number in the listing and spoke to Mark right away.  He texted me the street address of the place, which is 1123 N Lacy Dr, Waco, TX 76705.  When we arrived he greeted us, and even offered to back our trailer into our spot when I told him we were new RVers.  Mark was friendly and…

First Time

A great park near our home and just right for our first trip out in our new RV. Some road noise from the highway but beautiful nature all around. All the campers we met were friendly. Lots of hills for good walks. Unfortunately the trails were closed because of rain. There is a big variety in…

Very Nice Country Setting

Entrance is not exactly as GPS address shows.  Entrance is about 1 mile east of where GPS shows.  Lots of Flag Signs at entrance.  Smooth gravel entrance and interior roads.  Gravel Sites are mostly level, but park and gravel are new, so there is some settling expected in near term, so minor…

Quiet

Stayed here last weekend, the 2 primitive spots are completely separated and private from the rest. Already reserved the same spot for a few weeks from now

Peaceful place

We tent camped in a primitive spot #47. Overall the spot was nice but not very level making the best placement of our large tent a bit of a challenge. Vault toilets were clean and had hand sanitizer. The nature and hiking in this park was our favorite part. Even rented a canoe and paddled across…

Quiet RV Park

Most reviews focus on the entry roads and they are correct the road could use some attention.  The entry was very easy and the employee at the entry desk was knowledgeable and very friendly.  The site has A/B/C Loops with both 30/50 amp connections.  There were quite a few spots that were bagged…

Pretty park, crowded sites

This park is beautiful with lots of areas to explore. The camp sites are all in one location and are very close to one another. Some sites are awesome while others are kind of awful, unfortunately. We were in site 004 and it wasn't great. There wasn't a good spot for a tent or a hammock. However,…

Close to DFW

This park is just outside the DFW area which makes it a great alternative to staying in an expensive hotel. It’s only about 30 minutes to downtown Dallas but it still feels like you’re way out in nature. I stayed at site #77 in the Shady Ridge area. It was an RV site but there was plenty of room…
