LegendLiberty hill is a very beautiful campground but there is a serius issue with the invasive Argentian ant. This is a great campground to spend a few days or weeks relaxing and catching fish. Lake Navarro Mills is well know as the best Crappie fishing lake in Texas. Navarro Mills Liberty Hill Park features a fantastic fishing barge that is covered allowing you to fish no matter the weather. Our visit to Liberty Hill Park at Navarro Mills Lake was a real treat with one minor exception, Argentine Ants, these can be a real issue when RV camping at Liberty Hill Park as this invasive species is out of control at Liberty Hill Park. RangerWe are headed south. I look for spots close to interstate. The park is clean, well kept and no appearance of lost long timers. The attendant put us in spot 59 across the street from the dog park. But more importantly a big open field with a walking path around it. Made our fur babies happy. I get in a hurry when we are moving again so we did not try the breakfast. I'm sure it was great. Definitely, a place to stop along Texas I-35 south of Dallas.

ScoutCame here because I am going to the Tech Acabemy down the road in Athens. I love the amenities here (pool, Pavillion, gas grilles, dog park and wash, pond, pickleball, other games walking trail, etc.). There are some really friendly people here. You should check it out.

RangerWell kept RV Park with friendly staff. This park sports an "old side" and "new side". It offers covered sites (extra cost), propane fill station, dumpsters, bath/toilet houses, laundry room, dog park, pool with sun or shaded seating, small storefront, WiFi & cable, free waffle breakfasts on the weekends and a fishing pond. Located just off the highway makes for an easy commute for work or adventures. Some of the sites are quite cramped. It took 20 minutes to get into our spot due to many trees and other campers/ vehicles. Spent one week here and probably would not stay here again due the very loud traffic noises.
Scout⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**Wonderful Stay at Whitney Rose RV Park!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Our experience at Whitney Rose RV Park was nothing short of fantastic! The park offered spacious and well-maintained RV sites that provided a comfortable retreat during our stay. The amenities were excellent, including clean showers, reliable WiFi, and a fantastic dog park that our furry companion thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, with fellow RVers sharing stories and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We had a great time exploring the nearby hiking trails and taking part in the various activities the park offered. Whitney Rose RV Park provided us with a relaxing getaway, and we look forward to visiting again soon.
TravelerNice hard sites all with 20/30/50a, cable TV, and full hookups. There are 4 washer and dryers and showers for all 124 spots. So it’s iffy getting one - no place to hang your clothing in the bathrooms and or wash area. The bugs are bad here, we had ants in our trailer and lots of bites. When it rains stay on the pavement as the mud is nasty and gumbo. The road is very loud and there are train tracks with train horns blaring all night long - make sure your bedroom faces away from the road for the best sleep. The people are very friendly and responsive - while we were there the internet and water was off a lot. Management is not on site and so lots of things were going on at night. No security or patrols. Over all I would stay again for a short stay to visit family, but $55-65 a night was pretty high considering there is zero to do here , no pool, no meeting rooms, no grass to walk on. Two dog parks and one small play ground for kids.

There’s a pet area, but it didn’t provide doggie bags, so make sure you bring your own. We felt safe and enjoyed the accessibility to the nearby river. The bathrooms are private but aren’t as clean as we would have liked. Overall we enjoyed our stay because of the close proximity to Magnolia and the surrounding areas.
