Lovely, very quiet and plenty of privacy

At first glance you could think that this park may be lacking in privacy considering all of the amenities. We found the exact opposite to be true during our stay from Monday, October 31st-Thursday, November 3rd. The first thing we noticed was how far apart the sites are, and they offer plenty of privacy. When we arrived on Monday there were two other couples staying on property and we saw them in passing but didn't hear a thing. The next day we saw one other camper at the lake while we were fishing & he left the next morning. Our last night at The Range found us camping alone ... It was a lot like boondocking with full hookups. We saw no one and the only thing we could hear were the coyotes in the distance at night.

I imagine that this property is hopping during the weekends and in season, but we found that it is also very peaceful and offers a remote feeling even when other camper are nearby.

The website is spot on when it comes to describing this park ... No embellishments. It's genuinely wonderful.

What you imagined camping would be like, before you bought a travel trailer

The Range is nothing like other campgrounds. The owners went all out in developing the property to provide an incredible experience for their guests. You'll be blown away and appreciate their attention to detail. From weekend dinners in the barn to cocktails at the pool, The Range is truly a resort. But unlike other campgrounds marketed that way, the sites are spacious and there are hiking trails all around the property. It is what I had in mind when I dreamed of getting an Airstream. I only wish that there were more places like it around the country. Oh, and if you're after seclusion, you can definitely find it here. (But I wouldn't recommend it! I've come away with new friends after every stay.)

Love love love

I cannot rave enough about this place. This was my first stay after picking up my airstream at DFW. I stayed in spot #19, which gives you visibility to all the amenities around.

The place is peaceful, I enjoyed walking my gsd around the property and checking out all the airstream rentals. The owners are great. Good drinks, good folks, all around good vibes.
