Seven acres of friendly farm animals, vegetables, and fun in the Upstate of South Carolina. We have gorgeous views of Table Rock Mountain (an excellent state park for hiking!). Our farm features lots of rescued farm animals who are friends, not food, including donkeys, a horse, a sheep, goats, piggies, and of course a barn cat. We grow diversified vegetables using organic methods that we sell directly to consumers and to local restaurants and grocers. Great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle but still only 20 minutes from Travelers Rest and Greenville.



Rambling Rosa Farm

We have professionally built mountain bike trails that sweep through the forest. We are just minutes from the Hagood Mill Historical Site housing ancient native American petroglyphs and a host of other Appalachia folk history. 

Campers have plenty of options 10 minutes to downtown Pickens, SC. The Ale House or the Burning Brick is great nighttime entertainment and there are plenty of local artisans who run shops on Pickens Main St. 

The Market At The Mill is also close by and is a huge factory converted into an indoor flea market with several hundred vendors under one roof providing just about anything the eye can imagine for sale.



The Sanctuary

Located at Hartwell Lake, one of the southeasts largest and most popular public recreation areas, Twin Lakes is a spacious waterfront campground. Twin Lakes boasts sweeping views of the nearly 56,000 acres of water that comprise Lake Hartwell, and 89 of the 102 available campsites are waterfront, providing campers with breathtaking views and easy access to the lake. Natural Features: Hartwell Lake is a man-made lake bordering Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo and Seneca Rivers. The dam and lake area boasts nine campgrounds and 15 day-use facilities that are operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Hartwell Project was originally authorized for hydro power, flood control and navigation. Later, recreation, water quality, water supply and fish and wildlife management were added. Surrounding vegetation allows for plenty of shade, and the 962 miles of shoreline provide numerous swimming beaches, picnic areas and boat ramps. Recreation: Boating and water sports top the list of popular activities. A boat ramp is provided for easy lake access. With multiple trails snaking throughout the shoreline area, hiking and biking are also popular pastimes. Facilities: Twin Lakes offers sites complete with electric and water hookups, flush toilets, drinking water and showers, creating a convenient camping experience. Twin Lakes at Lake Hartwell

DuPont Bike Retreat is a Ride In-Ride Out location just 1/4 mile from the Fawn Lake Access area into DuPont State Forest. The DBR is 37 acres and has a pond with a dock and numerous camping sites available. The property used to hold Glass Feather Studio, which was a glass art studio and is now being renovated into the Glass Feather Lodge. The mountain view from the indoor porch is amazing and there are several places to relax and enjoy this view. There is a bike wash station and outdoor shower behind the lodge and an indoor restroom off the porch. A second full bathroom will also be available off the porch in the spring. The lower Pond area of the property has port-a-johns near the pond, and outdoor showers may be available as well in 2023 . Starter bundles of firewood are included, and additional can be purchased on-site. Come enjoy the forest straight from your campsite!

Coneross Campground is located on the Seneca River arm of the northern end of Hartwell Lake in South Carolina. Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the Southeast's largest and most visited public recreation lakes. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. Natural Features: The lake shore is thickly forested with mostly pine, and the lake itself is large with many inlets and coves to explore. Numerous species of birds call this area home, including waterfowl, shorebirds, woodland birds, and even the occasional peregrine falcon and bald eagle. Recreation: Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass, and hybrid bass. The lake appeals to boaters of all kinds, whether their specialty is canoeing, sailing, or motor boating. Coves and areas of quiet water provide water skiers with excellent surfaces. Facilities: Coneross boasts sweeping views of Hartwell Lake. This campground has a total of 105 sites, most of which have water and electric hookups. Twelve are non-hookup, primitive sites. All of the sites are spacious and mostly shaded. Amenities include a boat ramp, courtesy dock, dump station, restrooms with showers, and a playground.
