Barefoot RV Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting within a mile of Barefoot Landing and walking distance from the Atlantic, Barefoot RV Resort draws RV campers to North Myrtle Beach's commercial strip with full hookups and a reputation for cleanliness that runs through nearly every review on record. Sites are concrete-padded, level, and sized to accommodate rigs up to 70 feet, with grass patches, picnic tables, and paver fire pits at each one. Palm trees line the sites and are lit at night. The resort is gated, and staff escort arrivals directly to their sites.

Two pools anchor opposite ends of the property: one with a slide and lazy river geared toward families, the other quieter. Jessica D. describes the bathhouses as "new and very clean, water pressure great." Reviewers also flag the WiFi as notably reliable, which matters for extended stays. Sites are close together, consistent with density typical of Myrtle Beach-area resorts, so expect neighbors within easy earshot.

The resort's location does most of the logistical work. Grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach are all reachable on foot or by golf cart, and several reviewers rented carts through a local delivery service for the duration of their stay. A small general aviation airport sits nearby, so low-flying aircraft are part of the ambient backdrop. For RV travelers looking at places to camp near North Myrtle Beach, this resort makes the most sense for those who want full hookups, organized amenities, and walkable access to the wider beach corridor.

Clean, fam-friendly, resort camping

Barefoot RV Resort was so CLEAN! Like I mean immaculate. Has 2 pools (one for kids with a slide & lazy river and one more for adults/quieter activities). The pools are in opposite corners of the resort. Bathhouses were new and very clean- water pressure great. Our site was very well kept, easy to use with a grass patch, cement pad & paver fire pit. You are quite close to all your neighbors here, but that's to be expected in Myrtle Beach. Rent a golf cart from Salty's- they deliver it right to your campsite. This was a must have as we used it to get to the beach, shopping/bars in Barefoot Landing, food store and more. Staff were welcoming, informative, accessible & friendly. We would absolutely come back!

Fantastic RV only park

We stayed the winter and loved it. Nice level concrete parking for all rig types and sizes. Well kept grass lawn at each spot with picnic table and fire pit. Spaces are ample and most guests are friendly. Dog lovers welcome. Close to beach, shopping and area restaurants.

Wonderful Experience

We stayed at Barefoot for 3 nights.  As soon as we arrived a member of the staff greeted us immediately and escorted us to our site.  Our site was large enough to accommodate our 34-foot travel trailer and parking for our vehicle and a guest vehicle.  The campground was very clean, and Wi-Fi was exceptional.  We will definitely consider Barefoot the next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Great Experience

This is a great campground with very reasonable prices. All concrete sites with 20, 30, and 50 amp service. Gated and safe. As soon as a camper pulls out, they pressure wash every site as needed. Hand clean the power boxes and sanitize the tables.

Quiet, clean, nice location

We were there with 2 other couples when tropical storm Elsa came. They cleaned up some tree limbs and debris shortly after the winds subsided. We had a nice week. We were next to an airport and enjoyed watching small aircraft. I videoed planes dropping banners. Pool was clean and had nice loungers and restrooms. Palm trees at every site lit up at night. You could walk to grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, the beach, and barefoot landing. You could drive a gulf cart to all these places too. They had activities also. We tie dyed our shirts with their logo on them to remember our stay. We saw fire dancers who taught the audience to dance, not with fire. The laundromat was clean. Didn’t use the showers but they were nice too. It is a gated campground. The sites are spacious and concrete pad for trailer, tow vehicle and picnic tables. Fire pits are nice. Would definitely recommend!
