Sweet little getaway spot. The only issue I had was boats flying by at full throttle at sunrise. But that’s not at the fault of the campground.
This campground is great, especially if you go to A, which is a good bit smaller than B. I have been here probably ten times. It is great in the winter, when things are quiet, and in the late spring/early fall, when you can swim in the lake but not die in the sweltering heat. All sites are well-kept and don't feel too close. Some of the tent sites are right on the water and are particularly awesome.
Very nice park. Spots are a little tight but enough room. Campground is very large.
very nice clean wooded campground
We enjoy coming here! Great sites! A lot of wildlife.
Best little campground. Water access. Only about 30 sites in campground A, so it’s pretty quiet. Low traffic. Easy access to rest of the park. Renovated bath/showerhouse.
This is definitely a gem in SC. The campground is quiet and the views are excellent. At first, the park can be kind of confusing to navigate, but a simple map takes care of that.
