Huck and Buck Farm is a small working farm to all visitors. We currently have chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys on the farm. There’s a small pond out back stocked with a few sunfish and maybe a snapping turtle. We grow vegetable and our hens produce a variety of fresh eggs. There’s a open grill for cooking and fresh water outdoors. Outdoor compost toilet is available. We have installed an outdoor shower which is available to guests. If you would like to accompany us and get a close up look at our farm, morning chores are at sunrise and sundown.

Wake up to open fields with wooded options for nice and peaceful primitive camping experience. Park and walk only. Blueberry Morning is 5 minutes from town and activities. Campsites are very large, all flat fields with plenty of natural privacy and shade. This pristine land is as good as it gets!! We strive for a positive camping experience rain or shine and can assist even the newest of campers. Located 30 miles from Atlantic city and 31 miles from Philadelphia. Our sites are completely rustic open field and wooded far away from roads. Walk from parking to site 1 is 500 feet.

Cecil County Permaculture

Come pitch your tent(s) or bring your camper/RV/van to the private, scenic farmette known as Prancing Deer. Enjoy herds of up to 25 deer at dawn and twilight, as well as foxes, eagles, turtles, frogs, fireflies, egrets, and an assortment of colorful birds. Located in Warwick, Maryland, the farm is about 10 minutes away from Middletown, Delaware where you can find shopping, dining, and events. Also the farm is a short driving distance to the Bohemia River and the Chesapeake Bay. A stay at Prancing Deer is ideal for people looking for a tranquil experience with little to no amenities, although we do have an electricity hook-up available (20 amp, 30 amp, 50 amp available). With 7.5 acres, you will have total privacy from the outside world.

Please note: The woods and adjacent properties are privately owned. Please do not trespass - stay within the field. If you use the light at the electricity station, please make sure it is turned off before you leave. This is an active feed grass field and a fire could put the crop in jeopardy. The ten tracts of Blackbird State Forest are open year-round at no cost to the public for nature walks, hiking, jogging, and horseback riding. The forest features a 1/2-mile, wheelchair-accessible wildlife and nature interpretation trail on the Tybout Tract as well as the Blackbird Education Center on the Meadows Tract.
