Well Kept

We stayed here for 4 nights.  We usually stay at a different campground but we unable to book there so we thought we'd try out SRA.  Upon arrival we were met by a pleasant man at the gatehouse who gave us our parking pass, gate key, and map.  Our site was easy to find and parking was easily maneuvered.

The grounds were well kept, the pool was clean, the bathhouse was clean AND air conditioned!!!!!  Loved the mini golf.  Every staff member we encountered was friendly.  This is a nice, flat campground so great for bike riding.  While there are MANY seasonal sites, we never felt unwelcome - quite the opposite!

We were kind of annoyed by the loud music of other campers.  It was late (but not yet quiet hours), we were in our camper, with our air conditioner running and our TV on, and we could still hear their music.  This only happened one night but it went on for hours.

Near the beach

We had perfect weather at this nice campground. Sites were sandy. There was foliage between sites though they were close together. There were very rowdy campers that were loud well into the night. When we complained, we hadn’t been the first to do so. They were very sorry and refunded some of our costs. We were in site 541. Our parents stayed in a cabin which was very nice with a bedroom, living/kitchen, and bathroom. Our camp site was perfectly level. We were close to the Cape May beaches. Cold Spring Brewery wasn’t too far and was fun.

Small sites with trees blocking

So we stayed May 1-2 so many amenities are closed. The campground is huge but seems clean. The roadways are narrow and there isn’t a lot of maneuvering room. We stayed in site 402a and it was a nightmare backing in and getting out of. We have a 42 ft 5th wheel but the website said it could accommodate the size . The bad thing is that there are trees all the way up to the street which limits your turn radius as well as cement marker poles. It took us a crew of fellow campers to get us in and out of site. Also some campsites were loud. We could hear a party going on from a few streets away.
