Awesome Sunsets and beautiful beach

This Park is on our list of favorite parks to visit each year. With it being on the eastern part of the Saginaw Bay you have a great beach for swimming and sunbathing. We were noticing that this park seems to be in an overused state and what we mean by this is the bathhouses not so clean and not…

Not as advertised!

I paid for a lakefront site for $120 per night that came with a dock and boat. What I got was a swamp front site with no dock and no boat and was told they don’t do refunds by the cashier in the camp store. There was no manager to be found. It was clear that all of the lakefront sites are seasonal…

Nice place, but...

We stayed for two nights, and enjoyed our stay for the most part. But our main reason to be there was to visit nearby Pictured rocks national lakeshore.
Otter lake itself is nice, and picturesque, i wish we'd had time to use our canoe to explore it, or even to take advantage of the beach. The…

Don't Book Lakefront, It's a Trap!

We rented for 120 a night a lake front campsite with a boat. We were given a rock and dirt pad that over looked a swamp area. Our campsite had goose poop everywhere and did not have a boat. We were told we could leave our ID at the office and take one of the rental boats back to our site…

Summer cruise

Nice place to stay,it’s sitting just off of the river, and the lake is next to it,if you like fishing you’re going to love it.the site is a little tight but you can pull through, overall it’s really quiet and close to town. I will be back next time through

Close sites

Nice and clean. I’m in the inner loop though and the sites are very close together. If I came back I would definitely try to stay out the outer loop. Electric, fire pit, and picnic table on site. No grate. Showers and bathrooms available.

Wonderful Campground

I've camped there for years and have moved to Florida. I still go back and camp there when I visit the area. Favorite Campground 💕

Not sure how I feel about it

Some camp sites are squished up to others. Other camp sites have plenty of room. So when you are stuck in a spot that is tight it kind of ruins the experience. Weird thing is,, the bugger sites are the same price. Small park for the kids, no complaints there. Staff was super sweet and pleasant to…

Filthy, unorganized and unkempt

Rotten picnic tables IF your site even had one. Campers had no fire pits and/or picnic tables. Dirty masks and gloves laying around.  Very unlevel site. Old dirty campgrounds.  Horribly loud from I75. Run by kids. Disgusting I would rather have given my money elsewhere. And charging $7.50 for a…

Crowded but nice lake

If you’re in a camper, make sure you have an extension cord. The power is quite a ways away. There is no internet or WiFi access. The camping spaces are VERY close together so it is very cramped. The fire pits are VERY DEEP, which means you have to be right up on it to see or feel the flame 2 feet…

Small and friendly

The smallest KOA we have been to but it was a nice change. The new owner helped us back into our site - he was very nice and enthusiastic. Pizza delivery on a rainy night was a nice touch. We will definitely come back when it is warm enough to swim in the lake!

Holly is amazing!

NOTE: Hollys dump station is still closed. There is a "mini dump" station for portable tanks behind the bathouse. You can dump at KOA for 35$ or at other state parks for free.

This was our second time at Holly. We stayed with 2 other groups sites 65-68. The sites are huge. Some have more shade…

Great place to camp

A lot of activities that you can do, while you are camping like fishing, swimming, kayak, trails, etc.

Camp area with fire pit, 120V power and clean bathrooms near.

Nice campground.

Not a bad campground. We stayed in the south campground on site 32. The site was sloped as it is at the bottom of a hill. Had to use quite a few blocks to level our travel trailer. I would probably not use this spot again because of it. I did note the North campground is much flatter; however it…
