Quiet, clean and gorgeous!

It unfortunately rained for almost every minute we were here, but the campground itself was great! Larry the host was great. Plenty of firewood available at his site. Day use area had a clean beach and good water for bathing/swimming. Awesome hike up to Spectacle Lake Overlook nearby. Go to Pickles…

Secluded and gorgeous, no longer free but worth it!

This campground is just as remote as others have mentioned. No cell service, miles of dirt roads winding through old farmland and logging roads, and an incredible view of the Crisp Point Lighthouse if you're equipped to make it down the 12mi dirt/sand mixed-vehicle road (I made it with a minivan,…

Clean, friendly and safe place to spend the entire summer!

We parked our Fifthwheel all summer for the last 4 years. Came up every weekend and spent 4-5 weeks as well. Many friends were made and so much to see and do! The town welcomes all campers as family! Clean bath houses every morning and night. Groundskeeper are awesome and go out of their way to…

Tahquamenon Falls Lower

Tight camping at the campground. Good restroom and showers. The lower falls are great place to swim. The upper falls and brewery are magic.

Peaceful Campground near Tequhamenon Falls

This is a great place to camp for a night or two if you are looking to do some peaceful fishing or explore the whitefish point area. There are no facilities at this campground and only a pump well for water. The closest town is Paradise which is very limited and only has a small general store.…

Beautiful area

This campground has 18 sites, lots of little walking paths, as well as hiking trails that lead you to other nearby lakes that don't have access for vehicles. Those other lakes also allow for hike in camping for a more remote setting, even though this campground is fairly remote itself. There is a…

Off the grid!

Small campground in the middle of the trees! Had vault toilets and potable water pumps. Great lake with a boat launch.

UP greatness

We always go after Labor Day for less bugs. The weather is always perfect and camping right on the river is great. We’ve been multiple times and will definitely go back

Breathtaking Fall Camping

We were there late in the season and had a lovely, quiet campsite near the River where we fished for our dinner and later built a romantic campfire.

Beauty and Serenity

This campground is a hidden gem, close to the small town of Brimley, Michigan where you can purchase forgotten items, visit the library, or visit local tourist attractions. The Lake clear and clean, and the camp is normally quiet. The vault toilets are kept clean and generator curfews are enforced.…
