Very nice camping

We enjoyed our time here, sites are bigger with lots of trees/shade. Nice views, bathrooms will be a bit rustic for some. But we loved the area and space the campground provides. The worms dropping from the trees were crazy.

Adventure abound

The campground and facilities are a little run down. Lake was very weedy, they haven't had rain in quite a while so lake was not in great shape. Staff could be more friendly. The gypsy moth caterpillars were everywhere.

The campground is out of control there was a large family that we were told when they show up they take over the campground and we were camped by the  the Mom and Dad of the family so everybody showed up for meals at there site…

Lots of space, quiet, trails and lake access

First come first serve in the fall- we were basically the only ones there. Big spacious sites, lake access and good hikes from the campground. Gorgeous and quiet. Would go back!

Great small spot!

Cool small campground next to the pine river. About 20 spots to pull in and camp. Also areas along the hiking trail to camp. Lots of wildlife and good views along the trials. $15 a night. First come first serve.

Careful of the locals. They have tricks to snagging spots and not being there for…

Great rustic campground

Great, rustic sites that back up to the north country trail. Very spacious and more than 50 yards in between some of them.

  • back on The North Country Trail about 1/2 mile bushwhacking through forest
