Fun! Fun! Fun!

Camp Dearborn has a lot for the kids, outdoor fun, night dance parties, cement for bike rides or rollerblading.

Our family had been coming here for years for Girl Scout camps and individual camping experiences

The park is not kept up as well as it could be and it is always packed

Clean and fun camping

My family took our RV camping here for a week here. It was very nice, we had so much fun. The bathrooms and showers were clean, there were a lot of activities for the whole family, and the camp site was nice and shaded.

Great Family Camp

We go here twice a year with friends and kids. It’s probably one of my favorite places. The drive is short and there are plenty of amenities to keep the kiddos busy all day.

A fun little campground with a nice bunch of petting zoo type animals! The beach is clean and the lake is warm! Very nice layout with walking trail around the lake. The only complaint was not nearly enough trash cans around (like, none easy to find) and the bathrooms were nasty for our 2 day visit. Price per night for full hook up was $40 :-)

Quiet and Hidden

I visit this park multiple times a year. Most of their campers are Canadian, so the campground celebrates major US & Canadian holidays.

If you want a peaceful camp trip, this is the place (if it's not during a holiday). It is right off of a major interstate, so you'll hear occasional noise. But overall, I love this place.

If you want to party, you'll love their holiday party weekends.

Heads up, this campground does not have permanent fire rings. You will either need to bring your own pit, or rent one from the front office.

Not Peaceful

I went camping here a few years ago and definitely remember more cons than pros. Granted, it was a holiday weekend, which may be why. Parents were letting their kids run wild with no respect to others in the campground. I also had a topical allergic reaction after swimming in the pond/lake.

If you have kids, there are a lot of activities.
If you are child free and looking for peace and quiet, you'll probably want to look else where.

Parking lot

Great for kids with lots of activities: arts/crafts, beach, water slide, etc but camping in a parking lot. Expect to hear every word from your neighbor’s conversations.

One of our Favorites

We’ve been in their tent/cabins and our own RV. Great park, clean, nice swimming lakes, the teens love the canteen. Tough to get in but we love it.

Beautiful Sites

Beautiful large sites, redoing the park in 2019. Great fire pits. Their reservation system was odd that they would let us reserve a site for the next day we had to drive out and go wait for it… but happy to stay their for a few nights.
