Sleepy Hidden Gem for sure

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn’t another camper in site. Lovely folks running the place. Very helpful and accommodating. This is not a resort, no electric at site, no water at site but pit toilets and a well to fill receptacles. Our site, F, is right on the beach. Wonderful…

A Walk on the Wild Side

We visited Wilderness State Park on our last day of our 10 day expedition, and I really just wish we could’ve stayed an extra day or two, honestly! The night before, we had an incredible time at the Headlands International Dark Sky Observatory the night before right down the street, and the next…

Big sites, super quiet!

We originally wanted to stay at the Lake Superior state campground, but all spots were full so we tried blind sucker #1, which had spots but not the vibe we were looking for. This lead us to blind sucker #2 and we couldn’t have lucked out better. The sites were huge, it was extremely quiet and many…

Top notch campground

Stayed here for 3 days in a travel trailer. Good sized sites, fairly level, friendly staff. Clean facilities and ample amenities. Only con was expensive to use clothes washing machines.

Beautiful, quiet area

Great getaway place for a no-service weekend! Clean showers, bathrooms, and access to plenty of convenience stores and gas stations nearby. We stayed at the Rivermouth campground which was not too far from the Lower Falls area. Good hiking spots close by (Clark Lake and the falls). Clean area that…

Best location

Stayed at a super saver site and it was very small, with no fire ring... just a pan. It was a let down. But, the store and bathrooms are great. The location is stellar, with views of the Bridge. There is a bike path across the street that leads into town.

Best Campsites in Michigan

This place is breathtaking. The road to get here is sketchy at best, make sure you have everything you need before you get there.... but it is worth it. A walking suspension bridge is over the Two Hearted River leads to a rocky beach with some of the most epic sunsets you will ever see. The…

Must see!

This was a beautiful place with many campsites on the water. The vault toilets were the cleanest I've ever seen anywhere! I would definitely stay here again.

Bay Mills

Good size lots with fire pit. Some full hookup and others with electric and water. Also WiFi available however seems not to work well. Cable tv, Laundry and bath house. At friendly with nearby trails.

Mackinaw Bridge Views

This is a large campground that feels smaller because of the variety of lanes and sites that are fitting for tents all the way up to big rigs wanting full hookup. Camping along side Lake Huron with spectacular views of Mackinac Island, Mackinaw Bridge, sailboats and huge freightors.

Awesome State Campground, Close to Mackinac

My family and I stayed here in August 2020. We stayed in the pines loop of the campground and really like the shaded sites. The bathrooms were clean, and the campground was quiet overall. We will be back!

Nicest KOA I've ever stayed at!

This was by far the nicest and most spacious KOA I've ever stayed at. There were a ton of trees and nicely wooded spots. We had site #16 right near the front, which meant we had some traffic noise and kids running to the adjacent playground, but the spacious lot size made up for it (and having 3…
