Can’t wait to go back

Woodring campground is now one of my favorites. Beautiful lake views and access, great variety of hiking trails.

I am driving a 34’ class a and pulling a 16’ car trailer and was able to squeeze into this campground (barely). Had electric and water hookups. Water pressure is great coming from…

Great campsite!

Really clean and nice campsite. The bathroom has showers and clean toilets. They even had little shampoo and conditioner and lotion you could use! There was wifi and a phone charging station as well if needed. All in all a nice spot. Would recommend.

Mountain view with privacy

This place is exactly what we've been looking for. HUGE spots, and that's even the "small" ones. Great views. Great spot to wander a little with a pet & great WiFi. Bring your computer so you can stream whatever TV or movies you want. Close to grocery stores & TONS of mountain goodness.

lovely campground

This was a nice little campground.  The camp host kept the bathroom nice and clean.  There was only one shower but it was nice and warm.  I had spot #4 which has access to the creek that runs along side the campground.  Because of the weather I couldn't really get in but it was great white noise…

Nice campground in the north Georgia mountains

This is a state park in the north Georgia mountains and is great for cooling off from the Atlanta metro heat of the summer.   The campground is well maintained and the bathhouses are very clean (they have individual ones).  The park has some great hiking trails from easy (lake trail), moderate…

Beautiful and stuff to do!

What a pretty place! Nice size campsite with no dedicated spot to pitch the tent but multiple options bc it is multi level with the fire pit down low in a separate hang out area. We did have a difficult time staking the tent with our tiny stakes so make sure you have titanium, the gravel is tough!…

Beautiful setting with Creek

This is a lovely little campground with lots of shade and a gurgling creek. They have nice tent sites and all the way up to fitting our 43’ fifth wheel. Our site backed up to the creek, which we really enjoyed. The pool was out of commission - just saying in case important to anyone else.

Great place to camp.

This campground was right off of the interstate and very easy to get to so that was a benefit. I didn't make a reservation so I just showed up and all the tent sites were taken so I just rented an RV spot. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and neighbors were very friendly and had a permanent…

Great Park with Secluded Camping

We camped in site number 9, which is in the back of the campground. Sitting at our RV, we couldn’t see any other sites, just the woods! The hiking is great, especially for kids. We wanted to do the boat rentals but got rained out. However, be forewarned that you have to rent boats at the main…

Great little campground

We had site 6 which was creekside. Beautiful! Small campground, one clean bathroom with free hot showers. Lots of tree cover which helped to keep the campsite cool and provided some shelter from rain. Close to the Ocoee River and Lake. Will be back!
