Great location and easy access

We did a short weekend visit to escape the heat. We were up the weekend after Labor Day, so maybe 30% occupancy. It was great! We got site 198, which is a perimeter back in. All amenities are close by. They have two kid splash areas, lazy river and heated pool. There are two spas, although one was down on our visit (not big deal). They have plenty of options to check out games. On site dining and bar are a bonus!

Be warned that roosters just east wake up early!

Summer Vacation

Absolutely love this campground! The sites were well maintained. The have many amenities I clouding a pool, lazy River, kids splash pad and kids pool. They also have tennis/pickle ball courts, a basket ball court, playground, pool table and ping pong tables. There were daily activities offered for both kids and adults. There was also a bar and grill at the pool area and a full restaurant at their lakeside sites. The lake had docks for fishing. They do have onsite golf cart rentals but we rented from an outside company since all of the resorts were booked for the week. It is a large campground so having a cart was very helpful. Without it we would have needed to drive to the lakeside area unless we were really wanting to get some exercise. We can’t wait to go back in the future. The kids loved it.

Great Family Campground

Overall this is a great new campground with plenty of family fun games. Two kid pools, full pool and hot tub, tennis and pickle ball courts, pool tables and table tennis, darts. Sites are a little tight and the foliage is young so there's no shade or separation between sites. Bathrooms and large individual shower rooms are modern and clean. There's a restaurant on site. The food is ok, nothing to write home about, but it's reasonably priced. Sites are fine concrete slabs with easy hookup. We were there in April and the bugs were difficult, noseeums and mosquitoes. We used it as a base to visit Savannah which was fine, but a bit longer drive than we hoped. Good Sam discount.

Beware, rude staff, overcharging credit card

Beware. Did not have a good experience for a resort. Slow to no wifi, water logged gravel sites, if you are a Passport member you will not be allowed to stay on a concrete pad site, low water pressure for a resort, speed limit is 5mph and the staff in forms you that you will be fined. My truck idled through the park at 9mph most parks are 10 to 15mph, wrist bands to worn when walking around the facilities REALLY!? You have to request 24hrs in advance if you would like your lp tank filled. Called and was given a price quote of cost to fill tank. Agreed to the price given and later received a email receipt from resort charging my card more than quoted and gallons more than tank can physically hold. Brought to the front desks attention and they refused to correct this issue. I even sent an email to their manager but as of today, no response just the normal cricket sounds. Not away to do business if you want return campers. Made this known to desk person but fell on deaf ears. Not recommending this park, there are others near by to stay

Nice for a quick visit.

We camped her 2 nights as we were passing through. It was quiet and everything seemed clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The Scavenger hut and craft was fun for the kids. It was too cold for us to swim but the pool, lazy river and splash pad looked nice. I will say they are all in separate locations so if you have multiple young kids and they each want to be between the splash and pool or river you could not see them all from one location.

Modern Resort

Visited CreekFire in December to visit Savannah. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms super clean. Lazy River was closed because it was December. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was still chilly. Sites are very close with no privacy. Tried to eat at the on-site restaurant one evening - the booster seat was broken. They were out of high chairs and said we had to wait until someone was done - however we were seated at a high top table so my daughter would have been so low and not up near the family. They wiped down the table with a dirty cloth and it was still soaking wet. We just could eat there and left. I was glad to try this place out, but it won’t be in my rotation.

Beautiful

Looks like a five star resort. We were passing through so only stayed one night. I plan on coming back next year and staying longer. We had a gravel spot by the pool. The gravel was compacted. However, it was convex (curving) in the middle. We had a hard time leveling and had to readjust more towards the middle of the spot. They have a concierge that takes you to your spot. A very interesting place.

They have it all!

This is a great, quiet destination near Savannah with a gated entrance. This is a newer camp so the trees do not yet provide much shade. The is the only negative I can write. The camp is quite large with roomy sites, some on the lake and some not. There is a store, fitness center, business center, pool, lazy river, ice machine, laundry, and more. There is also a clubhouse on the lake that provides dining options and some live entertainment when the weather cooperates. I really like staying here.

Nice amenities but not so good on customer service and satisfaction

I would not say I am not going to stay here again because I really enjoyed the Lazy River and the pool bar. The amenities were great. However, there were several disappointments. First off, I emailed the resort to get some needed information for our trip. Someone did respond to my first email but gave me incorrect information. I emailed again three more times and never got a response. I ended up calling and the guy I spoke to said he would email me the information, which he never did. Upon arrival to our site, we found about 1/2 our site to be a muddy mess. See photo attached. They should have gravel, grass or better drainage. Then, you have to have a gate pass to reenter the park after 8:00 which is fine. However, the first night when we returned our gate pass would not work. I called the number on the pass for after hour help and that extension was an invalid extension. So we had to just wait until someone was coming out for the gate to open so we could get back in. The next morning I went to the office and was advised they had an issue with a lot of the gate passes and gave me another one. I told the lady of the issue with the after hours help number and she did not seem concerned about that matter at all. The last of the disappointments was with the kayaks. They advertise that you can kayak in the lake and we hauled our kayaks all the way there to do so. However, when we rode down to the lake, we could not find a place to put them in. So with all that being said, I have mixed reviews about the resort. Great amenities but not such a great first experience there.

We had a quick overnight on our travels towards our destination, but we loved it so much we re-routed our return home plans to come back and spend more than a nights rest. Staff are all so sweet and helpful. But most of all the facility has everything for a family fun time. Leveled, full hook up sites. Heated pool, hot tubs, awesome lazy river, fun kiddie water park, great lake side restaurant/bar. Will highly recommend and will definitely return!
